A Headhunter is a person that work goalfocused and strategically depending on the situation. But, they all have one thing in common! They need to bring the money in!! Every month!

So, the question is: How can you help the Recruiter to earn his salary?

YES! Thats what it is about! How do YOU help the Recruiter!

Rule 1. They are buissy bringing the money in so please do NOT annoy them…

Rule 2. What ever YOU do! Stay Professional! They are NOT your best friend or workingmate

Rule 3. Never ever! Talk badly about them or any other recruiter or headhunting company!

Rule 5. It is about Networking! And how to stay Tuned with people with a big Network

1. Connecting candidates with presumtive companies

2. Activ Recruiting!

3. Passive Recruiting!

4. Building Pools of presumtive candidates

5. Most Headhunters are Specialised witincertain areas/fields

6. A business driven Profession

The mindset of a Sourcer

Sourcing IS the FUTURE Headhunter!

They are highly skilled in using Social Media tools to find and identify attractive Talents.

In the ”Cyberworld” they are identifying, connecting, networking and buildingrelationships with presumtive candidatesthus creating pools of attractive Talents (Retention).

Aa a Talent YOU are kept under Retention thus it is up to both YOU and the Sourcer to Stay Tuned!

The Mindset of a Sourcer

When working through Recruiting AgenciesYOU need a Strategy!

1. Figure out how they are working!

2. What industries are they collaboratingwith?

3. How modern are they?

4. Do YOU like the Recruiters in that specificAgency?

5. Step out of your Comfort Zone!

6. People Do see YOU and do not be surprised if someone find you! That YOU did not know about

A person with a strong Personal Brand:

1. Weknesse and Strenghts

2. Personality

3. In control with a vision

4. Power and Influence media flow

Hard Skills and Soft Skills!

1. Hard skills is what you learn as Researcher and PhD – techniques, methodologies, writing, reading, analysing facts/numbers, general tools…

2. Soft skills is who you are as person. PERSONALITY! As well as Interests, values, ethics, life style etc

3. What do YOU want?

Who will higher YOU?

1. Most probably YOU do NOT know!

2. Someone that know someone

3. It is usually a 3rd connection in yourNetwork

TIPS!

1. Never exclude as YOU do NOT know a persons connections and/or contacts

2. Have as many 2nd second connections as possible

3. Do not stress your 2nd connections as youmight scare them away!
