1. Introduction

The GPS tracking system is an integrated GPS/GSM/GPRS device that achieves

real-time location tracking and anti - theft function. The positioning system can

automatically obtain the longitude and latitude coordinate data of person, pet,

vehicles and various information collected by the device. This data is transmitted

to the monitoring platform through the built-in GPRS module and is compatible

with various monitoring software. The data can also be feedback to the user via

a GSM text message. Users can positioning and monitor remote targets with a

free Google earth map.

6. Start Operation

The following is the device structure diagram：

Standing outside, hold the device where it has a clear and unobstructed view of

the sky. Switch the device on or off, press and hold the side ‘On/Off’ button, all

four lights will flash.

7. Main Functions Instructions

7.1 Install SIM card




7.1.1. Remove the cover of the case and insert the SIM card into the card slot, as

shown above；

7.1.2. Close the case

7.2. External wiring

Marked by the line logo in the car, if not used, please use electrical tape wraps to

protect it.

7.3 Serial port tool installation

7.3.1 Install USB driver, open PL2303_v118.exe, and restart the computer after install

successful.

7.3.2 See if the port configuration is successful in the “computer”-“device manager”,

as the below picture in the left:

7.3.3 Start the serial port tool and set, as the below picture in the right:

7.4 SOCKET tool installation

Start SOCKET software, protocol selection TCP SERVER, according to the default IP

address settings, modify the local port number, click connect as the following

picture:




7.5 Machine Function Setting

Through the USB serial port settings, place the machine in the base, and through

the data cable to connect the base with the USB converter, and then set the

machine through the serial port functions. It also can pass SMS or GPRS SOCKET

network debugging assistant to set the machine function.

7.6 Restore factory setting

Send command “SET1”via USB, or send command “RESET!”via SMS, or send command

“:RESET!#”via GPRS.

7.7. Set SMS password

Send the command "SETH + new password" through the USB serial port tool or

send the command "password + H + new password" via SMS or send the command

"123456 + H + new password #" via SOCKET, The factory password is 123456, And

the new password must be six digits.

7.8. Set the authorized phone number

Send the command "SETA1 + phone number" through the USB serial port tool, or

send the command "password + A1 + phone number" via SMS or send the




command "123456 + A1 + phone number #" via SOCKET. The factory password is

123456, and A1 is the first number, which can be set to A8 at most.

7.9 Set GPRS TCP / IP connection address

IP Connection: Send the command "SETC + APN +, + IP +: + Port" via USB serial port;

or send the command "password + C + APN +, + IP +: + Port" via SMS or send the

command via SOCKET ": 123456 + C + APN +, + IP +: + Port #" The APN can be

obtained from the local operator.

Domain Name Connection: Send the command "SETRhttp: // + Domain +; Port" via

the USB serial port tool; or send the command "password + Rhttp: // + Domain +; +

Port" via SMS or send the command via SOCKET: 123456 + Rhttp: // + Domain +; +

Port # ".

7.10 Turn GPRS on or off

Send SMS "password + D" via SMS to enable GPRS connection. If GPRS is connected,

you can send SOCKET command "123456 + D" to reconnect; send SMS "password +

E" via SMS or send "123456 + E "to turn off the GPRS connection.

7.11 Single positioning

Send the command "password + F" via SMS, or send the command "123456 + F #"

via SOCKET. After the device receives the command successfully, it will start GPS to

get the latest coordinates and reply to SMS or GPRS. If you get a GPS failure, up to

four minutes will reply with invalid information.

7.12 Turn on continuous positioning

Send the command "SET + M1, + xxxy" via USB serial port, send the command

"password + M1, + xxxy" via SMS, or send the command "123456 + M1, + xxxy #"

via SOCKET. While XXX represents three times, y is S/M/H (second/minute/time),

for example, SETM1, 005M means to send a location information every 5 minutes.




7.13 Set the SOS/BMA calls for one-way monitoring

Send the command "SETU2" via the USB serial port tool, or send the command

"password + U2" via SMS, or send the command ": 123456 + U2 #" via GPRS.

7.14 Shut off and resume ACC function

Send the command "SETT1" via the USB serial port tool, or send the command

"123456 T1" via SMS or send the command "123456 T1 #" via SOCKET to cut off

the ACC, Send the command "SETT0" via the USB serial port tool, or send the

command "123456T0" via SMS or send the command ": 123456T0 #" via SOCKET to

recover the ACC.( Note: Only after the car has been turned off as well as unplug the

key this will take effect.)

7.15 OTA wireless firmware upgrade

Send the command "password + UV" via SMS, or send the command ": 123456 +

UV #" via GRPS, the device will automatically enter the firmware upgrade.

If you need to set up to upgrade a firmware version, you can add a version after the

command UV. For example, "123456UV02" indicates that you are upgrading to

version 02 firmware.

Note that using the OTA firmware upgrade method, make sure that the battery

charge is above 50%, otherwise OTA upgrade will not be performed until the

charge is over 50%.

If OTA fails to upgrade three times, the OTA upgrade will be canceled.

If the OTA upgrade is successful, the machine reboots twice for new firmware

upgrades and new firmware backups.

7.16 USB online firmware upgrade

7.16.1 Plug the USB cable into the USB port of device and connect to the PC via a

USB converter.

7.16.2 Open the USB serial port tool, set the serial port




according to the picture of right.

7.16.3 Click "Open File" to import the latest firmware

(file format is bin)

7.16.4 Send command "SETUV"

7.16.5 The device will reply "OK".

7.16.6 When the device sends the command "MCU Is Ready Now!" It means the

machine

is Ready to send bin file within ten seconds.

7.16.7 When the device is successfully received, it will enter the firmware upgrade.

Do not operate the device again.

7.16.8 The device restarts twice after the firmware is successfully received to enter

the new firmware upgrade and new firmware backup.

7.16.9 If the command "SETUV" is sent and the device does not

report the "OK" command, the machine may exit the

setting mode when it times out. You can insert the USB

cable again and send the command "SETUV".

7.16.10 After receiving the command "SETUV", the device will

have three chances to execute the firmware upgrade. If all

three upgrades fail, the upgrade will be canceled.

7.17 Bluetooth setting parameters

After the device is powered on normally, parameters of device can be set on the

phone, the specific operation is as follows:

Open the phone Bluetooth, and then search the device, after the search is

complete, you can see the device named 15 IMEI is displayed on the list, and then

click to enter the pairing. After the pairing is successful, you can send the file to the

device. When the file succeed in transfer , the machine will finish automatically

parameter settings. The file is in text format (suffix .txt). The content must be

entered in a specified format (one line for each item, ending with a comma, or




ending with a comma if there is no parameter), as shown below

9. Note

Please follow the instructions below to extend the service life of the tracker.

1. Please follow the instructions to select the appropriate type of SIM card and

follow the instructions to properly install the SIM card.

2. Please keep the surface of the tracker dry. Any liquid will damage the circuit in

the tracker.

3. Avoid using or storing the tracker in dusty areas.

4. Avoid using the tracker in extreme conditions of high temperature and low

temperature.

5. Carefully operate the tracker to avoid violent vibration or shaking the tracker.

6. Clean the tracker with a dry cloth to avoid touching the tracker with chemicals

or unclean cloth.

7. Do not graffiti tracker, which may cause some foreign objects to stay between

the parts of tracker.

8. Do not disassemble or reconfigure the tracker.

9. Please use the original battery and charger, if the use of other batteries or

chargers may cause unnecessary losses.

10. Do not disassemble or refit the use of other antennas, which may interfere with

transmission and increase radiation.

The format of USB setting command is “SET + command”.
