Academic scientific research (fixed-term) (scientific-disciplinary sector AGR/09 "Agricultural Mechanics") at the Department Agricultural and Environmental Science (DISAAT) of the University of Bari “Aldo Moro”. The scientific activity concerned mainly research topics pertinent to Mechanics applied to the agricultural and agro-industrial sector, such as: - Renewable energy, power systems, energy management in agricultural sectors. The essence of the invention: the cleaning rollers, which are mounted on an additional inclined frame, are arranged in the shape of a wave in a longitudinal-vertical plane at different heights, so that formed, positioned longitudinally, cleaning beds helical screw springs are directed in a direction towards the cantilevered ends, and above the outlet ends of the helical springs, in front of the discharge conveyor, a transmission shaft is mounted perpendicularly to the longitudinal axes of the coils, with flat elastic beads located within the cleaning channels.

4. Technical result: improvement of the quality of the purification of root crops from impurities by 15-20%.
