MIN JIN PERSONAL MAGAZINE MY LIFE FROM A BABY TO A HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE

I WAS THE YOUNGEST OF MY FAMILY FOR TEN YEARS. MY YOUNGEST COUSIN WAS TEN YEARS OLDER THAN ME. I WAS BORN WITH ALL THE LOVE FROM THE ENTIRE FAMILY.

I WAS TOO CHATTY AND ACTIVE FOR THE IDEA OF A TRADITIONAL CHINESE GIRL. MY PARENTS ALWAYS SAID THAT I WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS TALKING DURING THE FAMILY DINNER.

But my mom was always proud of how excited I was all the time. She was one of the few parents back then who believed in developing a child’s nature was the the best way to raise a child.

Kindergarten was the happiest time of my life for now. There was no homework, no studying, only playing and all sorts of school events. Then I started my journey at elementary school with all the passion and curiosity when I was six years old.

Elementary School was well things really get excited for me. I started to learn piano in Grade 1 and music has grown into an important part of my life. When I was in Grade 3, I started to

practice “Shufa” (Chinese Calligraphy) and I was pretty good at it.

After taking the advices from many of my teachers, I signed up for several national competition for piano and “Shufa”.

Turns out, hardworking will always pay back. I won several awards at the age between 8 and 10.

Before graduated from elementary school, I was several tests to evaluate my professional skills in piano.

I stopped taking tests after level 10. But I kept practicing piano until now.

AFTER GRADUATED FORM ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, I ENTERED THE MOST WELL-KNOWN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN MY PROVINCE.

ALTHOUGH LIFE AT HIGH SCHOOL WAS BUSY AND PACKED WITH HOMEWORK AND TESTS EVERYDAY. BUT I WAS STILL MANAGED TO LEARN ANOTHER CHINESE INSTRUMENT “GUZHENG” AND FULFILL MY LIMITED PERSONAL TIME TRAVELING WITH MY FAMILY.

After three years of hardworking , I finally graduated from my junior high school.

FAMILY TRAVELLING IS THE TRADITIONAL OF MY FAMILY. EVERY YEAR AT SUMMER TIME, MY FAMILY WOULD CHOOSE A BRAND NEW PLACE TO DISCOVER.

AT THE AGE OF 15, I BELIEVED THAT I MADE ONE OF THE BIGGEST DECISIONS IN MY LIFE. I DECIDED TO COME TO CANADA FOR FUTURE STUDYING AND I EARNED MY PARENTS’ PERSONAL AND FINANCIAL SUPPORTS. I CAME TO CANADA ALONE ONE MOUTH AFTER MY 15TH BIRTHDAY.

MY EXPERIENCE IN WWSS IS INCREDIBLE.

I left so many beautiful memories in this school and in this city.

I PARTICIPATED IN EVENTS THAT I NEVER WOULD CONSIDERED ABOUT.

It is still hard for me to believe that there will only be less than three mouth left for me in this school and in this city. I know that I will have so many opportunities to come back to this city again. But it will never be the same as now. The past is a foreign country: they do things different there. I only wish I could hold on to those beautiful moments as long as I possibly could.

THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
