About Me – A Personal Snapshot of an aspiring Hero
Mina Ehab Kodsi
-Steve Jobs-
Who am I? While on paper I’m just an Upstate New York college student in an Accelerated 7-Year Physician Scientist (BS/MD) program – on track to getting my MD in the near future – someday, I will be much more.
I’ve always dreamed of being a doctor but recently, my life goals have taken a turn towards the crazy; I want to be a hero. My diverse and unique religious upbringing in one of the most Ancient sects of Christianity and my love of all that is science – and far more importantly, the vast amount of people to whom it can bring great benefit – have turned my sights to one day changing the world.
Knowledge is power they say, but power to do what? That is the question that separates the heroes from the villains, success from failure, and the best from the worst. To me, it is the tool by which we can advance humanity forward and improve the lives of every person alive.
I believe we all have a God-given duty to help everyone we come in contact with and for this reason, I hope to dedicate the breadth of my experience, knowledge, and efforts to helping improve the lives of every individual who I come in contact with and, to a much greater end, every human being in this world.
My work may be cut out for me. But armed with my unshakable beliefs, growing knowledge, undying determination, limitless empathy, and, most importantly, my incredible goal – I will change the world.
I am crazy.
A rich and immersive upbringing in one of the most Ancient Sects of Christianity has helped spark intense spiritual, intellectual, and emotional growth throughout
my life. Centered on an unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ, I have found great success in inspiring hope and happiness in individuals from all walks of life and
helping improve the lives of all I come into contact with.
