COMMUNITY CONTEXTThe Splendor home is located in an ur-ban middle low income neighborhood,
in the north side of lima.

SPLENDOR HOME CENTER
AIMS OF THE PROJECTSplendor Home is a place that host elderly people (dependent and/or independent). The beneficia-ries will be provided with a safe environment that aims to allow them to enjoy activities and spaces of people with the same age and situation. Most of the beneficiaries were abandoned by their families
due to lack of resources or because they are ill.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESProvide meals per day, recreational activities, ac-companiment in the house and outside the house,
health assistance, etc.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSSome health and caring knowledge.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunteer will help doing different tasks, most of the time the volunteer will assist the staff (this means that they will help the health, administra-tive and home staff). Their activities will differ ac-cording to the planned activities. From helping to prepare the meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), to accompany the elderly to do their activities. As well, they will have to prepare workshops (morning
and evening) for the beneficiaries.

COMMUNITY CONTEXTSan borja is a urban district located in the center east of Lima. It is a quiet dis-
trict.

AIMS OF THE PROJECTFray Masias is a project that offers services for disable children and adults; in this place the students will have access to an specialized education. It offers academic, cultural, artis-
tic and medical services and workshops.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESProvide safe a secure environment for disable people, in which, they can learn academics,
artistical, cultural subjects.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSSpanish knowledge. Some experience wor-king with disable adults or children. If possi-
ble some knowledge of dacing and music.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunteer will help doing different tas-ks, however, the main duty will be to support the teacher during the class, including taking care of the students, assist during the acade-mic and cultural lessons and carry out some
workshops.

LA CASITA DE LA PAZ - INSPIRA
AIMS OF THE PROJECT“La casita de la Paz” provids a safe environement for rural children and teenagers that are coming to Lima to have cancer treatment, treatment for burns, brain paralysis or
Down’s syndrome therapies.
PROJECT ACTIVITIES“La casita de la Paz” offers a place to rest before and af-ter the medical intervention or therapies, as well, all the beneficiaries and accompanying person have access to food and workshops during their time in the house. Most of the beneficiaries come from for rural areas or indige-nous communities, thus, the beneficiaries and their ac-companying person will be provided with hosting. While beneficiaries are receiving treatment the project will help
the accompanying person to settle down in the city.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSSpanish knowledge. The volunteer will have to be willing to help, they have to be proactive and organized, with
some artistical skills.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe Volunteer will have to help in different activities, sin-ce help the administrative team to supervise the activities in the house (To control the activities in the house for the parents and children). As well, they will have to carry out workshops with the children, help to prepare food and help to feed them, finally, the volunteers will have to help with the promotion of the house on social media (photo-
graphy or design material)

COMMUNITY CONTEXTThe project is located in an rural area, located in the south east of Lima. It is 1 hour away from the center, almost one
hour bus trip.

ASOCIACION MUNDO LIBRE
AIMS OF THE PROJECTMundo Libre provides a safe environment and pla-ce for children and teenagers that have been living on the streets or comes from violent environments. One of the aims of Mundo Libre is to give back the dignity andvalues that the children lost while living in the streets, through the consequences of drugs, sex exploitation, violence, etc. so they can return
to society.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESMundo Libre offers spaces with psycologic thera-py, academic workshops, health assistance and spirituality spaces. The project Host over 40 chil-dren (girls and boys) between 9 and 17 years old.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSThe volunteer must be at least 18 years old and have intermediate Spanish knowledge. They should have some experience working with chil-
dren. Artistic skills are desirable.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunteers will have to assist in the different areas (health, administrative, social work). Volun-teers will receive training and according to their skills will be assigned to a specific area. During their time on the project they will take on more res-ponsibilities, as the volunteers get to a deeper un-derstanding of the needs and required activities.

AIMS OF THE PROJECT-Host children of scholar age that have been abando-ned, providing a safe place in which they can growth up away from gangs, provide a good environment so
they can feel love and tranquility.-Grant spaces for family reunification, provide works-hops about the importance of family. Emphasize the im-
portance of Christianity.-Show solidarity to children and families so they can have
support during hard moments and overcome them.
PROJECT ACTIVITIESThe project has some activities such as: hosting home for children, show them to pray and find guidance on christianity, academic advising, provide academic ma-terial and spaces to study, provide quality food, health services and meds, psychological assistance and wor-kshops, offer recreational spaces, create cultural spa-ces and encourage dialogue and training seminars for
parents.
VOLUNTEER’S REQUIREMENTSThe volunteer should be at least 18 years old, have in-termediate Spanish knowledge and some experience
working with children.
VOLUNTEER’S TASKSThe volunteer will be an academic assistance by run-ning workshops or assisting the children with the ho-mework as well as being part of the daily activities such as playing with the children, prepare food, cleaning etc. They will also manage the social media communication
for the project.
