Peru• Peru is a country on the central

western coast of South America facing the Pacific Ocean.

• It borders Ecuador and Colombia to the north, pacific ocean to the west, Brazil and Bolivia to the east and Chile to the south.

• It has sovereignty over 1,285,215 km2 of land and 200 nautical miles of the Pacific Ocean, as well as 60 million hectares of the Antarctic.

Thailand• Thailand occupies the western half of the

Indochinese peninsula and the northern two-thirds of the Malay Peninsula in southeast Asia.

• Its neighbors are Myanmar on the north and west, Laos on the north and northeast, Cambodia on the east, and Malaysia on the south.

• Thailand's terrain includes relatively high mountains in the north that extend southward along its Myanmar border to the northern edges of Malaysia.

• Thailand is about the size of france.

The Philippines• The Philippine islands are an

archipelago of over 7,000 islands lying about 500 mi (805 km) off the southeast coast of Asia.

• Only about 7% of the islands are larger than one square mile, and only one-third have names.

• The islands are volcanic in origin, being part of the Pacific Ring of Fire, and are mostly mountainous. The highest point in the country is the peak of Mount Apo in Mindanao, which is 2,954 meters above sea level.

• Language: Spanish is the official language and is used in most of the country. Other languages have been recognized by the Constitution, such as Quechua.

• Religion: Freedom of religion is a fundamental right in Peru’s culture, although Catholicism is the main religion, another legacy of the Spanish.

• Football is the most popular sport in Peru.

• Language: Thai language, is the main language in Thailand. Other languages spoken in Thailand are Chinese, Lao and Malay while English use is becoming more prevalent in government and commerce.

• Religion: Thailand is nearly 94%-95% Theravada Buddhist, with minorities of Muslims, Christians, and other religions.

combination of Eastern and Western culture. Before the Spanish colonization of the country, the Philippines' culture was mainly influenced by the indigenous Malay heritage of Southeast Asia.

• Religion: Christianity consist about 90.07% of the population while Islam about 5.57% of the population.

• Language: Filipino and English.• Arnis, a form of martial arts, is the

• The politics of the Republic of Peru takes place in a framework of a presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the President of Peru is both head of state and head of government, and of a multi-party system.

• The Republic of Peru is in a state of ongoing democratization.

• Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the Congress. The Judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.

• Until 22 May 2014 the politics of Thailand were conducted within the framework of a constitutional monarchy, whereby the prime minister is the head of government and a hereditary monarch is head of state.

• The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislative branches.

• Before the 1932 revolution, the kingdom had no written constitution. The monarch was the originator of all laws and the head of the government. In 1932 the first written constitution was issued, expected to be the most important guideline of the kingdom.

• The Politics of the Philippines take place in an organized framework of a presidential, representative, and democratic republic whereby the president is both the head of state and the head of government within a multi-party system.

• The judiciary is composed of the Supreme Court and other lower courts. The Supreme Court is the court of last resort, and decides on constitutionality of laws via judicial review.

• The constitution mandates that local governments must have local autonomy. The smallest local government unit, the barangay or village, is descended from the balangay of the Maragtas legend, where the first Austronesian people reached the Philippines via the boat.
