Celebration of Life is being held for former
officer and bartender Monty Coffman on
June 15th from 6p to 9p at the Lodge.
Friends of Monty are encouraged to attend.
Robbie Farrow has had bilateral knee
replacement and is doing well.
John Wilson had ankle issues but is doing
well.
G reetings Members All,
Just a brief note thank-
ing everyone for a fan-
tastic May. Our Mothers day
brunch was a resounding suc-
cess. We fed about 150 people
and had a great time. May also
gave us Memorial Day, and a trip
to the Elks State Meeting. In
June its all about Flag day; every
Lodge observes June 14th as
Flag Day, a tradition which the
Elks began in 1907 and was
later adopted by the Congress as
an official observance. We will
perform a ceremony at 5:30pm
on the Town Square. Check the
calendar for more activities, and
come on in and take advantage
of your private club!
Yours in
Elkdom,
Pete

It’s Back, Baby! Fernando’s World Famous
Nacho Night is back...and with a
vengeance. Fernando has spent
the entire winter cultivating
organic non-GMO corn in his
greenhouse to make his artisanal, hand-crafted tortilla
chips. He has been travelling the world to source
heirloom tomatoes from Naples, native jalapeños from
Veracruz, wild-harvested avocadoes from Texas, black
olives from Spain’s Mediterranean coast, and only the
finest canned cheese from Costco in Idaho Falls. Your
taste buds will never forgive you if you miss this. Starts
Thursdays in June at 6p at the Lodge.*

Jackson Hole Elks Lodge No. 1713
@JacksonHoleElks
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks
was founded in 1868 to promote and prac-
tice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Jus-
tice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity; to promote
the welfare and enhance the happiness of
its members; to quicken the spirit of Ameri-
can Patriotism and cultivate good fellow-
ship.
Today the Elks are a fraternal order of nearly
one million members with a network of more
than 2,000 lodges in communities across
the country. Annually the Order spends
more than $80,000,000 for benevolent, edu-
cational, and patriotic community-minded
programs.
Jackson Hole Elks Lodge No. 1713 was char-
tered on July 17th, 1947 and has been serv-
ing the community through the four cardinal
virtues of the B.P.O.E. for over 70 years.
