Cole showed the P51 4cell repainted by Walterquite heavy. It flew quite well last Friday. Think itis an FMS.

Rudy Arp brought in his Slick. He got a G32electric motor at the Chino event at Christmas.Rudy saw the Slick in Model Airplane magazine.Came with a 4 page instruction manual written inChinglish.

Tom Gatchell showed his House of Balsa P51.Built it about 36 years ago. Monocoat on wingsand tail feathers. Multiple coats of resin on thefuselage. Perhaps it will fly soon.

Conner Anderson was in Dave Domzalski’sclass building Christmas trees. His aircraft lookedmore like an airplane. He showed the damagefrom combat and eventually parking his car on it.

Al Iamacelli bought a Beercat from a friend.47” wingspan. All sheet balsa. Al does not havethe time to finish it. He is looking for a volunteerto assist. If interested, let him know.

Dave Domzalski brought an indoor/outdoorplane from his cellophane series. Dave addedcarbon fiber roving along both sides of the wing.That significantly increased the strength of thewing.

Dave Domzalski also brought his mysteryplane which is the latest in his cellophane series.It has unmentionable characteristics.

President Dave Domzalski called the meetingto order at 7:02 p.m.

President’s Report and New Business(Dave Domzalski):

Earl LeBlanc brought a friend – Juan PraddNew bridge is painted and ready to install.Chino swap meet this Saturday, May 7th.Associate membership – will require a member

vote which will be at the June general meeting. A$25 fee is proposed.

Vice President’s Report (Matt Hinshaw):Boat Float is the last Sunday of September

(25th).Indoor flying May 15th.Safety Report (Rudy Arp):The recent series of personal safety close calls

all involved equipment malfunction. Except whilelanding or taking off, all flying should be more than25 feet beyond the RR ties.

Flight Instruction (Cole Field):Nothing new.Treasurer’s Report (Dave Marston):The checking account balance is $3100. All

bills paid including the materials for flight stations.Some income tonight.

Secretary’s Report (Al Weikart):Currently we have 87 on the member list, but

approximately 20 have not renewed.AMA membership compliance is relatively

good, but some need to renew with the club.
