Bubble Free SamplingGasoline testing according to ASTM D4052 dictates density determinations are performed at 15 °C on chilled samples. The SC1 single sample automation system ensures high repeatability and excludes operator errors at a minimal requirement of cleaning solvents.
Difficult SamplesHighly viscous or solid petroleum products are no problem for the powerful SC1H and SC30H heated automation units. Sampling, mea-surement and thorough cleaning are completely automated and smart error detection securely excludes the presence of bubbles.
Safety FirstThe automated measuring sys-tems protect operators from direct contact with toxic solvents or vapors. The toxic and smelly waste is collected in a separate container, which can be equipped with the LevelSens™ to avoid over-filling. ErgoSens™ allows the start of measurements without remov-ing protective gloves.
Efficient and Easy The automation solutions not only provide productivity gain, but also help to prevent measurement errors and save rinsing solvents. Even untrained operators always get the correct results with One Click. Temperature compensation tables according to API and differ-ent units are built-in.
Traceable ResultsCertified reference material, full user SOP guidance, method his-tory and advanced data manage-ment help you to meet ISO and regulation requirements. Enforce check standards to be tested with tailored tolerances for complete confidence in your density meter or refractometer.

Compact and Excellence Titratorsfor all your Petrochemical Analyses
Titra
tion
Titrators for All SamplesNo matter your technique; potenti-ometric, colorimetric, Karl Fischer, electrometric or coulometric, we have the instrument for your refinery solution and oil testing needs. Their intuitive and flexible methods make meeting standard requirements easy.
Flexible AutomationKeep up with the high demand of petrochemical titrations with flexible automation programming. Our high pressure PowerShowerTM eliminates sample carry over. Rest assured your sensors are clean and conditioned for accurate and repeatable titrations, all day long, every day.
Rugged and Suited SensorsSharing over 40 years of sensor manufacturing experience; our rugged and tested sensors hold up against the non-aqueous solvents and viscous nature of petrochemical titrations. Be sure and secure of your analyses with our built in PlugnPlay sensor chips.
Keep your Laboratory SafeProtect operators from the haz-ardous and volatile solvents and reagents used in oil and crude analysis with our Solvent Man-agerTM, membrane and peristaltic pumps. Automatically move tested samples to waste ves-sels monitored with LevelSensTM, ensuring no overflows.
Secure Titration ManagementConnecting to our balances for automated weight transfer saves time and eliminates transcription errors. Protect your method pro-gramming with tailored user man-agement and exportable memory copies.

Automated Lubricant Grease Drop Point TestingTime consuming manual lubri-cant drop point tests according to ASTM and IP standards can be securely automated with the DP70 Excellence system. The video-based image analysis reli-ably detects the drop point event. Operator-dependent result inter-pretation becomes a thing of the past.
Standard-Compliant Soften-ing Point Tests of Bituminous SamplesMETTLER TOLEDO instrument specified ASTM D3104/D3461 standards are widely accepted for quality control of bituminous materials. The video-recorded process may be played back for verification. The test efficiency is notably improved by simultane-ous analysis of two samples.
Sample Carrier Increases Safety and EfficiencyA cup lid with vent hole prevents spilling and furnace contamina-tion in case of expanding sample B Standard compliant cup for dropping or softening point deter-minations C disposable glass collector The sample carrier keeps all parts together and can be placed into the stand D.
Comparable Drop Point Tests of Polyolefines and WaxesPolymers and waxes can be eas-ily prepared with the smart sam-ple preparation tool. It enables repeatable sample preparation by controlled filling of the drop point cup with the pre-melted sample. The ASTM D3954 based drop point test ensures excellent result comparability.
One Click® ResultsThe color touch screen enables intuitive operation and provides clear information. Just one click is all that is needed to start the measurement – the instrument does the rest for you. The end of the measurement is signaled with an acoustic tone and measured results are displayed.
