One of the main concerns expressed by parents is the level of staff training in place for the summer provision. In response to this there has been a joint recruitment drive and over 50 additional workers have been recruited to work across both Sefton Positive Futures and Sefton Resource Centre. The training week for these additional workers is wk/c 25th July. As such the additional summer workers will not be on site until week 2.

However a high percentage of families who access Sefton Positive Futures requested that our summer provision starts on 25th July and not 1st Augusttherefore, in response to this, our scheme will run for the full 6 weeks.

Please note that there will only be existing core and casual workers during week one. All these staff are trained to the highest level and many attended the Sefton Resource Centre training week last year.
