The P.G. Department of Zoology, M.U.

started functioning from session 1969-1970 in

its own building which is occupying an area of

approximately14000 sq. ft.

It has the distinction of being the first

building constructed in the M.U. campus.

Faculty Profile Department has Head including three Professors and one associate Professor and

supporting staffs to assist the academic activities.

Student’s Intake and Mode of admission

• Annually in M.Sc. Zoology course, total intake of

48 students.

• Admission is made on the basis of merit/performance

of the candidate in Entrance Test followed by

interview.

• Admission to PhD is as per the UGC 2009 guidelines

which includes Entrance Exam, interview, Pre-PhD

course work also.

• Strengthening of Museum

• Publication of Books (in the light of UGC syllabus)
