I Candidates employed in recognised R&D Organisations canopt for applying in the external (or sponsored) category

Selection Process

I Candidates called for selection should choose one of the fourgroups for consideration

I Selection is a two-stage process:I Written test (see syllabus in following slides)I Candidates selected after the written test will have to appear

for a technical interview

I Final selection is based on performance in the interview.

I It is advisable that shortlisted candidates bring a hard copy ofrecommendation letter from two referees in sealed envelopesfor the selection process.

I Candidates will be allowed to appear for either 1 of thefollowing question papers:

I Semiconductor technology: Device physics andsynthesis/fabrication/characterisation/nanotechnology
