Apply for a Federal Student Aid ID fsaid.ed.gov A FSA ID is comprised of a username and password and can be used to login to certain Federal Student Aid websites, such as the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)2. Complete the FAFSA www.fafsa.ed.gov Applicants must have filed their current taxes in order to complete the FAFSA application. Applications submitted electronically are processed in a much shorter time-period than those submitted by mail. Your PIN is required for electronic filing. Troy University’s school code is 001047. It is recommended that you utilize the IRS Data Retrieval tool in order to ensure your income information is appropriately entered into the FAFSA.3. 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each course on your registration form.
6. HoveroverStudentPlanningandclickPlan & Schedule. Use the arrows (< >)tonavigatetosemes ter or term.
7. ClickViewothersectionsunderyourfirstcourse.Findasectionthatfitsinyourschedule,clickon that yellow course block, and then click Add Section. There may be multiple pages of course section options. The section must be YELLOW, not RED(redcoursesarefull/closed).
8. Repeatsteps6and7foreachcourseonyourplan.
9. Click Register Now in the upper right corner of the screen.
10. Click OK to accept the terms.
11. All courses should turn GREENandyouwillhavecompletedyourregistration.Ifanyremainyellow, contactyouradvisorortheRecordsoffice.

Parking Decals are required to park on the Phenix City campus and may be purchased online at https://splash.troy.edu/parking/index.html. A $100 annual fee is assessed for parking decals. Bring decal receipt to the Riverfront Campus Security Office. Monday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. or Friday, 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. to receive decal.
ID cards are mandatory for all students. In order to receive an ID card or to update an existing card, students must show their current registration form.
Student ID cards are lifetime cards and should not be destroyed. A replacement fee of $15 will be charged for student ID cards.

The Proficiency Profile TestThe Proficiency Profile Test can be administered in two and a half hours. The information is ob-tained to measure the students’ academic skills in the general studies area. Associates take the test after completion of 48 hours and prior to graduation (exit exam), and bachelors 60-89 hours, during the junior year. Assessment results are used to fulfill a SACS requirement for accreditation and are important to ensure credibility of a diploma earned through Troy University.

Major Field AchievementTest (MFAT): Business/Management, Criminal Justice, & PsychologyAny student seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a Business Program MUST take the MFAT the term they register for their capstone course (BUS 3310, BUS 4476, and CJ 4499). Stu-dents will NOT be allowed to graduate if they do not take the MFAT. TROY Online students must register to take this exam by going to http://trojan.troy.edu/online/testing/mfatmapp.html. Comprehensive ExamsStudents admitted into a graduate program requiring a comprehensive exam must pass the required exam prior to graduating. Students should consult TROY Online regarding procedures for schedul-ing and taking the comprehensive exam. This test is generally taken the last semester/term prior to graduation. If a student fails the comprehensive exam, they must successfully retake the exam within one year of the date originally taken. *Photo ID is required.

Students are responsible for all tuition and fees regardless of their source of assistance. If financial aid is approved, it is applied to student accounts after late registration ends each term. Any balance not covered by financial aid, tuition assistance, employer benefits, scholarships, VA benefits, or similar, is the student’s responsibility.
Students who register for courses and do not officially drop/withdraw from the university are held responsible for all tuition and fees. Non-attendance is not considered an official drop/withdraw.
Student Accounts
RefundsTo receive refunds from the university, students must activate their refund preference through BankMobile, our refund processor. A Refund Selection Kit is mailed to students within 10 days after the term start date, arriving in a bright green envelope. The envelope includes specific instruc-tions to set up the refund preference. Additional assistance can be obtained by calling BankMobile Customer Service at 877-327-9515. In the event the student does not receive the selection kit within 10 days after the term start date, please contact Student Financial Services at 334-448-5121/5151 to obtain an activation code.
PaymentsPayments can be made online, using Web Express and clicking on, “View Account and Make Payments”, or by calling a cashier at 334-448-5151 or 334-670-3886. Students may also pay in person in the Student Financial Services office located at the 431 Campus, Pitts Building, 3413 South Seale Road, Room 138.
Past Due Accounts
Student accounts with a remaining balance after the payment due date are charged a late fee, and delinquent accounts may be referred to a collection agency resulting in additional charges of up to 33% in collection fees.
