West Building | West Ballroom | 300 Level
The West Ballroom offers 45,000 square feet of versatile, column-free meeting space capable of hosting everything from galas totradeshows. This level has a weight capacity of 250 pounds/square foot. Two freight elevators (cab: 9’H x 9’W x 19’L, door: 8’H x9’W), one with a weight capacity of 20,000 pounds and the second with a 10,000 pound capacity, provide easy accessibility tothe West Ballroom from the loading dock area.
To enhance the line of sight for stage productions, retractable telescopic riser seating for 1,200, with padded seats and arm rests,is available. Numerous rigging points with weight capacities ranging from 2,500 to 5,000 pounds each, allow the room toaccommodate everything from banners to elaborate lighting displays.
The West Ballroom pre-function areas provide spectacular views of Camelback Mountain and the Northeast Valley. This space isideal for receptions or for just relaxing in the comfortable seating areas.

The Conference Center Level offers nearly 21,000 square feet of high-level corporate meeting space, designed to InternationalAssociation of Conference Centers and International Association of Congress Centres standards.
This level features a 192-seat lecture hall with high-end wood finishes with data and power outlets at each work station. With conferencevoting and audience response systems, four translation booths and a media control booth, the lecture hall is equipped to accommodate avariety of functions. A permanent 9’ x 16’ rear-projection screen and 12,000 lumens projector provide the latest in presentation technology.
Smaller events can utilize one of 15 meeting rooms on the level, many with permanent board room amenities. This level also features anexecutive board room complete with private reception area, luxury furnishings and butler pantry for uninterrupted service. Ergonomicseating in the lecture hall and board rooms, four outdoor terraces, spacious refreshment areas and a dedicated concierge deskcomplement this exceptionally well-designed level.

The Street Level features 16 meeting rooms with more than 27,000 square feet of versatile breakout space. The colorfulpre-function space called the arcade, links Symphony Hall, the West Building Atrium and Herberger Theater, creating aunique thoroughfare for guests. When standing in the arcade, you are visually connected to these three distinct downtownPhoenix landmarks.
Several pieces of the convention center’s $3.2 million public art collection are located on this level including the 90-foot mirrorsculpture by world-renowned artist Louise Bourgeois and video projection installation by Tony Oursler. The conventioncenter’s ticket office and information desk are also located on this level.

The Exhibition Hall offers 312,500 square feet of continuous exhibit space which connects the North and West Buildings underThird Street. Scored on a 10’ x 10’ grid and a 30’ x 30’ utility grid to expedite the move-in process, the Exhibition Hall has a 350pounds/square foot weight capacity and rigging points ranging from 2,500-5,000 pounds/square foot. This level offers fivefunctional show offices, three that overlook the show floor and two on the ground level in the adjacent pre-function areas.
The Lower Level features two convenient access points for move-in. The North Building loading dock features 21 truck bays, threeramps and three convenient roll-up doors (two at 20'Wx16'H and one at 22'8"Wx16'H). The West Building loading dock providesnine truck bays, two convenient roll-up doors (18'Wx11'10"H and 18'Wx12'H) and a semi-truck turnaround. Trucks with a wheelbaseof 73' or less can access the Exhibition Hall floor on this level via a sliding door (24'Wx16'H).
40,000 square feet of spacious pre-function space, located just outside the Exhibition Hall, is available for registration and a variety ofother event functions. Convenient dining options for guests include three, double-sidedMetro Bistros, accessible from the pre-functionarea and the Exhibition Hall, and the Metro Café, located adjacent to Hall 1.
