Adolescent Residential Treatment Programs Phoenix House Texas
Program Overview• Residential treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring mental health
issues for adolescents ages 13 to 17• 30 to 45 day program with master’s-level clinicians• At least one individual therapy session, one family session, and ten hours
of group sessions per week• 12-Step, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed therapy• Credit Recovery Academics accredited through AISD and DISD
Additional Opportunities• Relapse prevention techniques• Life skills education• Yoga and mindfulness techniques• West Side Story Project (in Dallas) using drama therapy techniques
in tandem with the Dallas Police Department• Expanded privileges and off-campus supervised activities at a certain
program level• Phoenix Rising Music Program (in Austin), in which clients compose, play,
and mix original music in our fully-equipped studio
