AlhambraWelcome to Lion Country! Alhambra is a College-going HigH SCHool . Alhambra offers 72 Honors and Advanced Placement classes and college credit (dual enrollment) courses. Being a part of the MediCal Magnet means a chance to prepare to become an athletic

trainer or therapist as well as take courses for other medical professions while in high school. Special business

programs help prepare students for jobs in Sports and Entertainment Marketing, Accounting or Computer

Applications.

Our counseling department provides ECAP (Education and Career Academic Planning) for every student, and

through free ACT exams, students can track their College readineSS. Our students are better prepared

each year - seniors earned over $2 million in scholarships in 2013. Alhambra is actively pursuing pathways

for our students to earn college credit while in high school. These pathways include the ACE Program, and

dual enrollment classes/concurrent courses with Maricopa Community Colleges and Grand Canyon University.

Alhambra also participates in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports). Students acquire skills to

make positive academic and behavioral decisions.Campus activities are non-stop, including over 30 ClubS, such as the state-ranked chess club to our

renowned student government. There are 20 interscholastic sports available as well as band, dance, choir,

and drama. Our “Unit of Distinction” JROTC has drill team, color guard, adventure team and rifle competition,
