Our trip to the Roses

Theatre in Tewkesbury

On the 4th of December we

went to the Roses theatre in

Tewksbury to see Cinderella.

The stars were: Cinderella, the

wicked step mother, the two

ugly step sisters, Prince

Charming, Dan Dini (the

servant), Buttons, Mouse and

security.

During the intermission we got

ice cream, and waited for the

play to continue.

At the start, the actors

announced the schools and

Pre-schools that were there.

One teacher (Mrs Lana) from

another school had a birthday

so we had to sing happy

birthday to her.

Just before the intermission

Cinderella got led to the

Prince’s palace by a robotic,

flying unicorn. This looked

brilliant!

Everybody laughed a lot when

the ugly stepsister sat on Chloe

Payne’s dads lap! We also

caught some sweets that were

thrown into the audience. We

had a really good morning and

everyone had lots of fun. (Oh

yes we did!!!)

Reading Challenge Football Match

Reports

Huntley V Waterwells

When we got to the pitch we

practiced before the match. Well

I forgot I had my bag on my back

so I ran to put it down then came

back! Then, I forgot my keeper

gloves then I had to run up

again to get them! Finally I got

in the goal ready to save most of

the shots.

In the first half we were 2-0 up

and we felt sure we could win!

But they scored so it was 2-1.

Then they got it back up our end

then I dived but they kicked it

in! The referee said it counted so

it was 2-2! Then half time they

scored again so sadly it was

3-2 to Waterwells. Then

nothing really happened from there and they won 3-2. The 2

people that scored on our

team were Callum and Max.

Then we had some Haribos

and packed away. A really

big Thank you to Miss

Ingram for coaching us and

taking us to all the matches

this season.

Thank you also to Mr Love,

Mrs Ruddock, Mrs Rawlings

and Ms Leslie for all your

support.

Written by Brandon Kirk

The school football team are:

Callum Love, Joel Ruddock,

Max, Chester Josh Jeffery,

James Collins, Brandon Powell,

Brandon Kirk and Fin Rawlings.

Note: Football has finished for

this season. The school would

also like to thank Mr Love, Mrs

Ruddock, Mrs Rawlings and Ms

Leslie for their help with

transport and team support.

Without your help it wouldn’t be

possible to take part.
