Seedlings for Plant for the Planet Project in Plot 68D. What seen in the picture here is

the “spare” seedlings in order to replace the dead ones. The planting was in

December 2009. Picture taken 16 Feburary 2010.

One of the farmer was nurturing the seedlings. By giving them space and put in

proper distance so that it will be ready to replace any dead trees when needed.

During the monitoring visit Yayasan Peduli Tunas Bangsa chairperson, Ade Noerwenda,

was not only checking the condition of trees but meeting with the farmers representative

and Perhutani to discuss the necessary precaution for the success of the project. (Photo
