+What is Photography?
Photography is a combination of visual imagination and
design , craft skills and practical organizing
ability .
Photography is the art , Science and Practice of creating durable
images by recording light or radiation , either chemically by means
of a light-sensitive material such as Photographic film, or
electronically by means of an image sensor.
+Point and Shoot Digital Cameras
Commonly referred to as Consumer Digital Cameras Equipment's &
Software’s.
Represent Probably 90% of all digital cameras on the market
Typically Small, Compact and lightweight.
Typically Very Friendly
Image Quality Has improved drastically
+Prosumer Digital Cameras
Common Term used to describe advanced models of P&S
Similar in shape and appearance to Digital SLR’s
Typically have extended Zoom range .(42x-60x )
Typically Combine user friendly P&S Features with more
advanced manual feature
+Digital Single Lens Reflex- D-SLR
Have Larger Sensor, resulting in graeter image quality
Trend to favor manual Control, Laking many automatic setting
found on P&S
Much Larger and Heavier
Ability to interchange system Lenses
+Parts of Still Camera
Viewfinder - Uses a separate window for viewing as the lens for taking the picture. IOW, you are not really looking at a real live image. This applies to most P&S Digital Cameras.
Body –
lens - The lens of a camera captures the light from the subject and brings it to a focus on the film or detector. The design and manufacture of the lens is critical to the quality of the photograph being taken.

+Difference Between Analog & Digital
Camera…
The main differences between the two are
found in the technical aspect of creating the
photo; uses a chemical reaction to create
the image on the film, whereas a digital
camera uses a series of mirrors to reflect the
image on a digital storage chip.
