• Photoshop is a programme designed to manipulate and create media,

• I used many tools on Photoshop to create my magazine.

the gradient tool,I used this tool a lot throughout my production it

basically spreads out the tone of a colour to create a light to dark effect.

I find this tool very effective. And where I decided to position my gradient on the

front, puts the main character in the light, giving it a positive connotation.

Cutting, adjustments, and creating a shadowCutting is a main tool used in Photoshop. To cut out

objects to be placed onto something else, or to incorporate an image onto another one.

I used this on obsessive amounts on both of my magazines.

AdjustmentsI used contrast, brightening the image, and

saturation to make the image stand out, I tend to adjust nearly all my pictures to get the correct appearance.

Shadow and stroke, I used behind writing on every page I have created, stroke being an outliner and shadow makes the image stand out more. And gives it a more 3d appearance.

• Basic shapesI used basic shapes currently all over my magazine. To

create borders, to add columns inferring in different colours etc..

Arrows, to keep going forward threw the magazine.Birds to give it a more informal rural authentic

appearance. make it more individual.
