Physical Fitness Week!• Sign up to participate in physical fitness

week and receive a free trial pass to the school fitness center! You can decide if you would like to participate for a week or for the year long event!

• Activities that will be occurring are marathons, races on the track, and team sports such as volleyball and basketball. This is a great way to meet new people while getting great exercise!

• We will help you condition and train if you decide to participate in our marathon! All proceeds of the marathon will go to charity so not only are you pushing your body while exercising, but you are helping a charitable cause.

• We monitor progress for those who sign up for the year long event. If you decrease your body fat by a significant amount, you can win tickets to a sporting event!

Calm your mind and relax your soul with your fellow students and guests at De Anza College! Embark on a journey of mental and physical tranquility as

we listen to the deep spoken word of guest speakers and fellow students and meditate to relieve our stress.

Spiritual Wellness Week• Yoga instructors will hold free sessions on

the football field so students may become one with nature. It doesn’t matter if you are a novice or an expert, the instructors will work with experience levels of all types!

• Meditation sessions will be held in the library for those stressed out by finals or just an upcoming deadline to ease the mind.

• Guests speakers and student volunteers will perform spoken word in the quad for some peaceful intellectual thoughts and insight into other’s lives.

• Party light representatives will also be on campus selling candles for those of us who are calmed by just the scent of an aromatherapy candle.
