What is a physical property?
• A physical property is a characteristics that can be observed or measured without changing the sample’s composition.
Examples of physical properties are:•Color• Smell• Freezing point• Boiling point• Melting point•Density
What are physical changes?
•Physical changes are concerned with energy and states of matter. A physical change does not produce a new substance. Examples of physical changes include crushing a can, melting an ice cube, and breaking a bottle.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL
CHANGES
•Chemical change is any change that results in the formation of new chemical substances. However, Physical change rearranges molecules but doesn't affect their internal structures.
