Family practice residents at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and medical students atTouro UniversityCollege of Osteopathic Medicine learn the medical and business aspects ofage management medicine at our medical institute, as part of their Practice Development rotation.

Cenegenics Education and Research Foundation (CERF)

We established the nonprofit CERF to provide evidence-based education in age managementmedicine and for ongoing research and affiliation expansion, aimed at improving science and

medicine. That led to co-authorship of several scientific expert papers published from ourinvestigative research with Dr. Ernst R. von Schwarz, professor of medicine at UCLAs David GeffenSchool of Medicine, as well as research conducted with Drs. Enrique Ginzburg and Nancy Klimas, fromthe University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine.

Age management medicine is rooted in comprehensive evaluation, well-established therapeuticmethods and solid science. Its not part of the anti-aging movement, nor does it claim to increaselongevity or affect aging at cellular levels.

We recognize aging as a natural processnot a diseasethat can be managed. Trained age

management physicians seek to prevent premature disability and death, while helping patientsachieve optimal health and vitality using various disease risk markers in their proactive approach topatient care.

Cenegenics certified age-management physicians use a highly intensive Executive Health Evaluation(EHE)and an Annual Executive Health Evaluation (AEHE)to guide patients on a synergistic,customized program using low-glycemic nutrition, exercise, nutraceuticals, lifestyle adjustments andhormone optimization, when clinically indicated.

Our age-management physicians evaluate hormones that decline with age, the timing and degreeof that decline as well as the related physiologic consequences. The literature is replete with studiesidentifying hormone levels that yield superior health outcomes. Toward that end, Cenegenics targetshormonal levels in these optimal ranges. For most hormones, that is the upper 25% 30% of thenormal range.

What dates are the physician training/certification program offered?

Training is held every two weeks, but is booked up months in advanced. You should factor at leasttwo months between registration and your training date. We prefer smaller classes to give individualattention.

How long is the physician training/certification program?

Part 1 is a six-day training week at Cenegenics Las Vegashowever, online home-study begins

immediately. Part 2 is an online exam, taken from the comfort of your office or home when you areready to demonstrate your proficiency of the material.
