More physics for the public

After quantum mechanics, I decided to develop a popular lecture on special relativity. The public of course wants to go straight to the general theory, because of the immense and universal interest in cosmology but first they need to understand the special theory. This summer I gave the 2010 Heinz Pagels lecture at the Aspen Center for Physics entitled “From 0 to c in 60 minutes: a crash course in Einstein using planes trains and automobiles.” You can see it at (http://vod.grassrootstv.org/vodcontent/9333-1.wmv) This site also links to two more Aspen lectures given to kids.
