Dévisser la vis de cicatrisation à l’aide de la clé héxagonale.
Choisir la longueur de vis la plus adaptée au porte-empreinte. Cette vis doit dé-passer de l’extrados du porte-empreinte. Indexer puis visser immédiatement le transfert pick-up sur l’implant pour limiter la contraction de la gencive.
Utiliser un porte-empreinte ajouré du commerce. Contrôler son insertion en bouche et vérifier que la vis de transfert dépasse bien de l’extrados.Veiller à ce que les bords ne blessent pas le patient et à ce que la fenêtre aménagée soit suffisamment large pour qu’il n’y ait aucun contact entre le porte-empreinte et le transfert de sorte à laisser facilement dépasser la vis.
Procéder à la prise d’empreinte.Avant la polymérisation du matériau, vérifier que la vis de transfert soit bien accessible.
