Thank you Another Purse Auction success! A Huge Thank you to all who supported the purse auction for the Alzheimer’s fund. To those who filled and donated a purse wonderful and to those who came and supported us that evening by purchasing a purse you were Great! We raised $816.00 that evening and it will be donated it to 2 local nursing homes for the use of Alzheimer patient needs. Once again, thank you…and thank you to those who helped work that evening. Membership news:
We are currently at 356 members. We have a goal
from the Grand Aerie of reaching 369 by the end of
the Fraternal year. We only have 13 more to go to
reach that goal. Hopeful we will surpass it. Please
help us recruit new members to help keep the club
strong and new ideas coming in.
Charity news:
For the 2020 Fraternal year we have given $2310 to
charities. Most of that has gone to local causes, only
$500 of it to the Eagles Grand Aerie charities.
Your generosity is what funds these donations and it
does help our community.
Do you have an idea for an event, game, or raffle to
raise monies for charities? Come to a meeting and
tells what you are thinking (You get a FREE drink
for attending)
Big or small every little bit helps. We do need to find
something fun for our Friday nights to replace that
Has winter finally left us? I just don’t know. Very little snow and not that cold of weather. I wanted to thank everyone again who donated to the Christmas presents for New Horizon. I have received thank you cards from both of the women that we purchased the gifts for. It should make everyone feel good to be able to help those in need. “People Helping People”. Make sure to check the calendar for the upcoming events for the next two months. On March 6th there will be a Texas Hold’em for Stepping Stones which is a division of the Family & Children’s Center for child abuse. Watch for the posters at the club. There will also be 2 raffle baskets and a 50/50 that night. The Easter Bunny will be here soon! Easter is April 12th, which means I will be looking for donations for the Family & Children’s Easter baskets. Any type of donation would be great, monetary, baskets, individually wrapped candy, Easter grass and wrapping for the baskets. We will be putting the baskets together on April 8th so they can be delivered on April 10th. I couldn’t do all these things without your help and support. Thank you!

Auxiliary Secretary’s Message
Wow here it is March and April 2020. Hopefully
old man winter will be gone and we are thinking
Spring real soon. And with the month of April, the
time will soon be May and our auxiliary dues are
up on May 31, 2020. So, sisters, you do not have
to wait for the end of May to pay your dues, how
about writing it on your calendar and send in your
dues by late March or April. The dues are still only
$18.00 so how about keeping me busy those
months with working on the renewal of your
Auxiliary dues. Let’s keep our auxiliary strong. We
need you and it’s a wonderful club to belong too.

REAC NEWS Hello REAC members are we all ready for warmer
weather and Spring time? I know I am and it will be
coming and with that our bus trip to the Meskwaki
casino is scheduled for April 7th and 8th. For
information call Sue at 608-769-3148. For anyone
interested in joining the REAC we meet on the 3rd
Monday of each month at 1pm. You have to be 55 or
older and retired. The dues come due in June and the
dues are still only $5.00 a year. It is a fun club within
the club to belong too. You do have to come to a
meeting at least once to join. Our meeting for March is
16th and April is the 20th. Sue and Donna are still
working on something for a summer month. See you at
the meetings.

Thank you to my Auxiliary Sisters…
I would like to thank my auxiliary sisters for submitting my name to be considered for the honor of being inducted
into the Wisconsin Auxiliary State Hall of Fame. I was very surprised when Theo read the letter to the auxiliary that
my name was chosen along with 2 others. It is truly a great honor to be chosen. I joined the auxiliary in April 1983
and have been an officer all these years, serving as President 2 times, and then serving as a State officer for 10 years
and becoming a State President in 2012 – 2013 and as secretary now for over 10 years. Thank you all for the many
well wishes. I have truly been blessed. The Hall of Fame dinner is in Madison on May 2nd and anyone is welcome to
attend. The dinner cost is $11.00 and the auxiliary sends in reservations by early April. So just let us know if you are
interested. Cocktails at 5:30 and dinner at 6:30. It is usually over by 8pm. Thanks once more. Alice Flock
