Saturday, November 15 - A connecting flight in Paris this morning brings us to Pau airport near Lourdes.After we check in at our hotel, we have the rest of the afternoonat leisure to rest or explore on our ownbefore dinner. B& D Lourdes
Sunday, November 16 - Lourdes is the birthplace of St. Bernadette and site ofthe 1858 apparitions of Our Lady under the title of her Immaculate Conception.We begin our day by Holy Mass celebrated at the Grotto where the BlessedMother first appeared to Bernadette, and where the miraculous spring of water wasunearthed by this saintly peasant girl. At the Information Center at 10:00 AM wewill view the Lourdes video that gives the history of the apparitions. In this holyplace of spiritual and physical healing we have the opportunity to take the "Baths"in the waters of Lourdes. The experience of the Bath is highly recommended.In the afternoon time could be spent in Eucharistic Adoration and other personaldevotions. There is ample opportunity for receiving the Sacrament of Reconcili-ation. We can witness the procession of the Blessed Sacrament with Blessing of~S~. B&DL~~~
Monday, November 17 - This morning we will celebrate Holy Mass in St. Anne Chapel in the Basilicaof the Immaculate Conception. This morning there will also be time to go on a self-guided walkingtour of Lourdes, providing the opportunity to see especially the places that are connected with the life ofSt. Bernadette. This afternoon we head to Pau for our late afternoon flight to Paris, the City of Lights.We will check in to .our hotel and have dinner together. B & D Paris

Tuesday, November 18 - This morning we will celebrate Holy Massat the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal on rue du Bac. Here OurLady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure, and told her, I am theImmaculate Conception. She showed St. Catherine how the imageof the Miraculous Medal should be cast. The chair is present whereOur Lady sat during one of the apparitions. Just around the comeron rue des Sevres is the Church of St. Lazare where we visit theTomb of St. Vincent de Paul, who is a shining example of love forthe poor. Our guide now takes us on a panoramic tour of Paris: the
Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, Place de la Concorde, and we drive near the LouvreMuseum and the Cathedral of Notre Dame. Shortly after noon we head to Charles de Gaulle Airport forour late afternoon flight to Rome, the Eternal City. We check in at our hotel and have dinner together.

Wednesday, November 19 - This morning we will experience a highlight of our Roman stay, attendance ata PAPAL AUDIENCE at St. Peter's with His Holiness, Successor ofSt. Peter and Bishop of Rome. Afterthe Papal Audience we take a break for lunch. This afternoon we drive to the Redemptorist church of St.Alphonsus to venerate the original icon of Our Mother ofPerpetual Help. A few steps away we will enter the mostillustrious church dedicated to Our Lady, the Basilica ofSt. Mary Major. It is here that we celebrate Holy Mass inthe beautiful chapel of Our Lady, Protector of the RomanPeople. In the Confessio beneath the high altar we canvenerate the Relics of the Crib that held the Infant Jesus inBethlehem. We see an ornate ceiling comprised of gold fromthe new world as well as a beautiful mosaic apse. We returnto our hotel and will dine together at a restaurant nearby.

Thursday, November 20 - This morning we go to the outskirts of Rome to the Basilica ofSt. Paul Outsidethe Walls. Before entering we pass through a huge courtyard and are struck by a marvelous mosaic on thefrieze above the entrance. The nave, framed by 80 granite monolith columns, leads us to the tomb of St.
Paul, Apostle ofthe Gentiles. In the Chapel of St. Benedict wecelebrate Holy Mass. Later in the morning we drive out alongthe Old Appian Way to take a guided tour of the Catacombs.As we walk through these hallowed burial grounds of the earlyChristians, we call to mind the fundamentals of our Faith. Ourafternoon is free. Much can be seen by walking through OldRome: the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain,Spanish Steps and countless churches where tombs of saintsand great masterpieces can be discovered. Rome, the Center ofthe Roman Empire and Center of the Church! This evening
we are on our own to find delicious Roman cuisine. B Rome
Friday, November 21 - This morning our Holy Mass is in the crypt of St. Peter's Basilica very nearthe tomb of the first Pope. As we walk through and pray, our thoughts are flooded with the events thathave taken place here and the people who have worshiped in this great centerof the Church. After Mass we meet a guide for a tour through the treasures ofthe Vatican Museum, seeing especially the Sistine Chapel with its awesomefrescos by Michelangelo. The tour concludes with an inside visit of the Basilica.We have some free time for exploring on our own. Some may even venture anascent to the top of the dome of St. Peter's, and be rewarded with a fantasticview of Vatican City and the city of Rome. We return to our hotel and prepareto go out and celebrate together at a Farewell Dinner with wine and music.

Saturday, November 22 - We check out of our hotel and transfer to the Romeairport for our return flights to the U.S., arriving this same day in our home city.

CA CELLATIONS: Please make all cancellations in writing. Thefollowing cancellation charges apply: If cancelled 120 days or moreprior to departure, a $75 administration fee is charged. If cancelled119-61 days prior, $300 penalty will be charged. If cancelled 60-15days prior, a $500 penalty will be charged. If cancelled 14 days orless, the total amount of the trip will be forfeited. In addition, oncethe airline tickets are issued, which will be 45 days prior to depar-ture, the cost is non-refundable (approximately $1418).
TRAVEL INSURANCE: We strongly recommend the purchase oftravel insurance to recuperate the penalties charged for cancellationfor health reasons. You would be fully covered except if pre-existingconditions are evident. Even so, the insurer waives the exclusionfor pre-existing conditions if insurance is purchased with 15 daysof deposit received by Travel Tyme.
