generation to operate this storefront. Originally founded in 1913 by her great-grandparents, J.H. and Sylvia Thomas and then passed on to her grandparents, Ed and Blanche Thomas, it operated as a true mercantile until 1967. Growing up, Terry remembers spending summers working alongside her grandfather in the quaint little store. Now, she feels right at home working in this amazing place and carrying on the merchant tradition started so long ago.

Most days you will find her father, Jack Thomas, (a WWII POW) now 87, sitting on the porch reading the paper and greeting all who come by. Her aunt, Kiku Thomas,(84 years) is usually there too, bringing over her wonderful handmade aprons and pillow cases that are available for sale.
