Strike a Pose for Pink Fashion ShowOctober 15The fashion show starts at 8 p.m. at CJ’s

Chisholm TrailDaysOctober 15The Williamson Museum and theService Club Coalition presentChisholm Trail Days at San GabrielPark on Saturday, October 15. Art Hop 2011Art Hop opens the Month of theArts in Georgetown with a receptionat the Georgetown Public Libraryon the evening of First Friday,October 7. This fourth annual juriedart show is sponsored byGeorgetown Art Works. Pieces inthe show include painting/mixedmedia, photography, and print-making. Prize winners will beannounced at the opening reception.Entries will be exhibited throughOctober. Mobiles in the Art Hopexhibit provided by the TexasSociety of Sculptors will be on display until March 2012.

The National Pink Heals Tourstop on the Courthouse Squareincludes a fire truck parade, pipes and drumsmusic, and program. Sponsors are theGeorgetown Fire Department, the GeorgetownAssociation of Professional Firefighters, andother local fire departments.

Benefit Sales: Pink Heals 2011 T-shirts are forsale for $15 at Visitors Center, GeorgetownChamber of Commerce, and Georgetown firestations. Pink Heals Hope Pennants for $5 and 2012 Pink Heals Calendars for $15 are on sale at Visitors Center or online atpink.georgetown.org. The calendars feature firefighters with women who are participants in the fashion show.
