Whether you’re curious about what on earth UCC Atheists actually

does or you’re just hoping to find something thought provoking, you’ll

find it here.

You might be wondering why we feel the need to publish an entire mag-

azine. Well, being an atheist broadly means that you do not believe in a god or gods - hav-

ing this viewpoint affects one’s perspectives on a great many issues. From international

politics to every day social norms in Cork City, non-believers will inevitably spot and ques-

tion assumptions made about what is considered proper conduct, fair judgement, and log-

ical interpretation of the facts. Atheist issues are diverse because issues of the divine have

and continue to influence the world around us (often in ways more subtle than we might

initially realise). It is from these kinds of issues that we draw our material for the Invisible

Pink Unicorn.

Take a look around the magazine and spare a few thoughts for things philosophical and

topical, and why not join us at our events during the year for more of the same.
