In today’s job market, pipe fitters are generally hired to work in a “helper” position, where they are trained on the
job. If you’re in a situation like that, it could be four to five years before you achieve your journeyman status.
There’s A Better Way . . .
Our faculty/instructors at FDTC have the highest industry credentials, extensive in-dustry experience, and routinely assess and certify student competency and skill levels. You won’t have to settle for on-the-job train-ing that may not be of the highest caliber and often lacks uniform assessment of student learning.
Our focused Pipe Fitter Program will cut that time in half and
you’ll be earning more a lot sooner.
Thinking About Becoming A Pipe Fitter?
As a graduate of our program,you will . . .
You won’t have to settle for training in the field, where much of the hands-on learning is often limited to one type of material, usu-ally whatever is being used in the setting where they are training. In the classroom setting our highly-qualified faculty will provide students with instruction in a diversity of materials and equipment.
The FDTC Pipe Fitting Program will provide thorough, one-on-one training focusing on craftsman and quality control instead of ad hoc instruction in the field.
It’s YOUR career.Don’t settle for less.
• Become competent in relevant theories and methodologies and gain high quality practice and experience instead of the “hit and miss” skills-only training that
is usually provided on the job on an “as-needed” basis,
• Learn more through in-depth modules on safety, mathematics, and blueprint read-ing, among others, that will ensure that completers have the necessary knowl-edge and problem-solving skills when they begin work in the field,
• Be a much more desirable, ready-to-work hire than those who have had no previous experience or training.
