Patrick Stoddart | Revdel |Kansas City, MO

Patrick Stoddart is founder of Revdel, a Kansas City, Mo., company that provides a communications platform to help organizations connect with and engage their members. The company’s newest product, RED 2.0, al-lows organizations—such as schools, religious organizations and nonprofits—to manage event invitations, RSVPs and ticket payments, similar to Eventbrite.

Three years ago, as a 16-year-old junior at Lee’s Summit High School, Patrick created the RED Alerts System to address the fundamental communications and scheduling inefficiencies at his school. RED was designed to be more than just the traditional emergency alert system many schools use. Patrick created it to allow more personal day-to-day messaging within groups in a school. As a full-time student at Pittsburg State University, Patrick grew Revdel to 25 clients and 20,000 users throughout Kansas and Missouri. He left PSU in May 2012 to work on Revdel fulltime, and has been focusing on the recent launch of RED 2.0.

“I’m inspired by knowing that no age is too young or too old to make a real change—in your life and in others’. That’s not necessarily something we’re all taught, but it’s very true,” Patrick says.
