The PITA NGN Forum 2015 is kindly hosted by: The American Samoa Telecommunications Authority Trade Fair on Developing Opportunities for NGNs The host has announced that it is also organising a Developing Opportunities for NGNs (DO) Trade Fair during the same week that it is hosting the PITA NGN Forum. PITA members are also welcome to participate and visit the DP Trade Fair; kindly enquire with Host contact provided at the end of this Information. 1. REGISTRATION All participants must pre-register online using the Registration form available at www.pita.org.fj . 2. PROGRAM Tentative Program initial outline is available here in the appendix 1 on Page 4. Further updates will be made available on the PITA website www.pita.org.fj and by email circulation. 3. VENUE The venue for the PITA NGN is the Rex H. Lee Auditorium, situated in Pago Pago Harbor, with close proximity to Sadies Hotel, and less than 20 minutes from the Tradewinds Hotel and Pago Airport Inn. The venue for the Developing Opportunities NGN Trade Fair will be at the Tradewinds Hotel Pavilion. PITA members will have full access to the DOTF exhibits pavilion, sessions, and events at no extra charge. Transportation between the two venues will be provided. 4. 5. TRANSFER FROM PAGO PAGO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTPago Pago International Airport is located approximately 5 minutes from TradewindsHotel and Pago Airport Inn, and 20 minutes from Sadies Hotels and the Rex H. LeeAuditorium.
Shuttle service will be prearranged for transfers to and from the airport. All shuttleswill be stationed outside the arrivals a Pago Pago International Airport.
To register for airport transfers, please email [email protected] with your fight andhotel information before the 30th of September 2015. Alternatively, approximate taxifare from the airport to the various accommodations is between $5 and $15 USD.
Taxi services may be requested from hotel receptions, conference and ASTCApersonnel.
6. TRAVEL INFORMATIONAmerican Samoa is served by two airlines. Delegates will need to arrange fights toeither Honolulu, HI or Apia, Samoa in order to connect to American Samoa.
Please check with your travel agent for flight details.
7. VISA AND IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTSDelegates from countries with Visa Waiver agreements with the United States may notneed a visitor's permit or visa. United States green card holders may also need toobtain a visitor's permit.
ASTCA will assist all delegates with their visitor permit requirements. Duringregistration delegates should indicate the country of their passport. As theconference dates draw near, it may be more diffcult to expedite visitor permits fordelegates, so early registration is recommended to ensure that all the permits anddocumentation are confrmed well in advance.
To enter American Samoa you must have a valid ongoing or return airline ticket, andyour passport must be valid for six months beyond your intended stay.
8. CLIMATEAmerican Samoa has a tropical climate throughout the year and is relatively close tothe equator at 14°S. October is the start of our summer and wet seasons.

Daily Mean Temperature in October is 27.5°C (81.5°F).
9. ELECTRICITYElectricity is 110 volts AC with US Standard 2-fat pins plugs. You are advised to bringa universal adapter if you are from a country with dissimilar plugs and voltages. Ifyour electronic equipment is not designed for 110 volt AC input, you may also needto bring a transformer to convert the voltage.
10. CURRENCYThe US Dollar is the local currency. There are Western Union money exchange boothsat the airport arrivals area, at the Tradewinds Hotel, and two blocks from Sadies ByThe Sea Resort.
Bank of Hawai'i and ANZ Bank are both established in American Samoa with ATMlocations near the hotels.
Credit and debit cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and shops.
11. TIMELocal time in American Samoa is GMT/UTC – 11. There is no daylight savings time.
12. TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICESCommunication services in American Samoa are provided by ASTCA and BlueSky,CDMA and GSM respectively.
ASTCA is the local landline and Internet provider, and is also a CDMA cellularoperator with EVDO 3G Rev. A services.
Internet access will be provided at all conference sites and hotels by ASTCA.

13. DRESS CODEIsland smart casual/Business smart casual. Recommend no suits and ties.
