My Company is named ‘Focus Pictures’ as our films stories require you to focus on the storyline to understand the true inner meaning of our films.

Equilibrium:

Mark Pylon (Christian Bale) works for the CIA and is part of a squad called ‘The Hackers’ with Paul McCarthy (Leonardo Di Caprio) and Charlie Smith (Robert Di Niro). The CIA pay him high amounts of money to do secret undercover missions for them. The money goes to his wife, Clara Pylon (Gemma Arterton) and son, Harry Pylon (Freddie Highmore).

Disruption:

After many theories in newspapers and on the internet. The CIA believe that the Russians are planning to attack America with Nuclear missiles. Mark and the rest of the Hackers have to hack Russian databases and see if what the media says is true.

Mark, Charlie and Paul find out there are no Nuclear missiles that are ready to launch. Mark has a choice to enable or disable the missiles. Charlie whacks Mark round the head with a hand gun.

Mark wakes up and he is tied to a chair in the same room. Charlie and Paul explain to him (In a series of flashbacks) what’s going on. 10 Years ago Mark was brainwashed. He used to be a Russian and working for Russian intelligence as a Hacker. Charlie and Paul were part of a small society in Russia known as the ‘Liberal Society’. They want war with the Americans to finish off what was started. They refer to the Cold War.

Charlie and Paul who are actually named, Charveko and Pauloko. Are now arming and getting ready to fire the Missiles at the White House.

Resolution:

Mark must stop Charveko and Pauloko, by disabling the missiles and killing both of them. Also, must stop the Liberal society. He must also, regain his true identity of who and what he originally was.

Restored Order:

Mark disables the nuclear missiles from launching. Charveko and Pauloko are in prison for life. Mark must now tell his American family that he doesn’t belong here and leads a life some where else.

New Equilibrium:

Mark Recovers his true identity in Russia his name is, Chekov. He is age 45. With a wife named Albina . He is still in contact with his son in America and continues to send him Money that he earns. Chekov still wonders how he was brainwashed and erased without a trace.

A Year later, Chekov and Albina get married again to remember there happiness, which returns Chekov’s memory back to normal.

I have chosen Christian Bale to play The Protagonist (Mark Pylon) in my film because he has played other Protagonists such as John Connor from Terminator: Salvation (2009) and Bruce Wayne from The Dark Knight (2008).

I have chosen Leonardo Di Caprio (Paul McCarthy) as one of my Antagonists because he has had previous experience as an Antagonist in such films as, The Departed (2006) and Catch me if you Can (2002).

Robert De Niro will play one of the antagonists (Charlie Smith) as he has had previous experience in films such as Taxi Driver (1976) and Good Fellas (1990).

Gemma Arterton will play Mark Pylon’s wife Clara Pylon. She is very attractive and will attract audiences. She is also, well known and will attract audiences because of her fame.

I have chosen Christopher Nolan to direct my film, for many reasons. He is becoming a very popular director, because of his recent box office hits, which are Inception (2010) , The Dark Knight (2008) and Batman Begins (2005).

I am also, choosing Christopher Nolan because he has many films which were great, that have a similar genre that I have chosen. Such as, Inception (2010) is an Action/Thriller and The Prestige (2006) which is also a Thriller.

My Film ‘The Hacker’ can be compared to classics such as, The Good Shepherd (2006) because, its involves the CIA and also, stars Robert De Niro. It also, comes under the thriller genre with unique plot twists. My film could also, be compared to Inception (2010) As my film has action sequences and plot twists. This is very similar to Inception as it has action sequences and plot twists. Inception also stars Leonardo Di Caprio.

The Hacker will appeal to males aged 15 – 30 years old , as my my film contains strong language and scenes of graphic violence. I am aiming at a target audience who like Action sequences but has a gripping storyline and has a unique plot twist. My film will mostly appeal to Males as my film has action elements which some females may not enjoy. We will be filming on studio sets to save money, and our film sets will be, Launching sites, long corridors and big office rooms. I have chosen Christian Bale to play the Protagonist ‘Mark Pylon’ because of his previous experiences in other films such as The Dark Knight and Terminator: Salvation. Also, Christian Bale is becoming a well known name, because of being in box offices hits such as, Once again, The Dark Knight and Batman: Begins. I have chosen Leonardo Di Caprio to play the antagonist ‘Paul McCarthy’ because of him being a well known actor and having previous experience in films such as, Catch me if you Can and The Departed. I have also, chosen Robert De Niro to play another antagonist ‘Charlie Smith’ because of his previous experiences in film with classics such as The Good Fellas and Taxi Driver. The Hacker will have a similar narrative to Inception as Mark Pylon has a race against time to stop the nuclear missiles from launching. I will be using £50,000,000 mainly because of the casting, and I will be publishing my film in main stream cinemas all over Europe and America.
