1. Take it seriously.

Purpose of Prayer:

1. Take it seriously.

2. Don’t take it too seriously.

Philippians 4:6

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Anxiety is the opposite of prayer.

1 Peter 5:7

casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

Prayer is transferring the burden.

Psalm 55:22

Cast your burden on the LORD…

Colossians 2:9-10

For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him…
