5. Objektif : To encourage students to participate in public Speaking competition as well as to build their confidence in using
English Language to speak in public.
6. Sasaran : All secondary students in Johor Bahru District
7. Butiran aktiviti : Students are about to give a talk on prepared speech for the first round. Second round, students are about to prepare their speech on given topic in 4 minutes only and deliver the speech in 3 minutes. Final round will be the same for participants that able to get to the finals.
8. Penilaian Program : Successfully carried out.8.1 Kekuatan Program :
8.1.1 The competition held was succeed because there were 39 schools in Johor Bahru district took part in the competition even the venue for this program was quite far.
8.1.2 The competition went well as planned.8.1.3 The three stations that have been used for the competition really
helps to save time and conducive for the competition.
8.2 Kelemahan Program : 8.2.1 The school that has been chosen for this program was quite
limited with accommodations especially the rooms and the PA system.
8.2.2 Three appointed judges by PPDJB were not presence during the competition due to certain excuses but the competition continued with the remained judges.
8.2.3 There was parents who complaint that the quarantine room for station 3 was quite near, so another room was used to replace it.
8.2.4 Due to the certain technical problem, another round was (3rd round) was done to choose the winner.
8.3 Cadangan Penambahbaikan : Hopefully next time around, the PPDJB can afford some souvenirs to the schools that took part in the competition instead of only certification given to them.
