Why is PKBM?

1. Constitution year of 1945 Chapter XIII, Paragraph 31, Article 1: Every citizen has right on education

2. Regulation No. 20 year of 2003 on National Education System Paragraph 13 Article 1: Education pathways consists of formal, non formal and in formal education.

3. Government regulation No. 17 year of 2010 on Education Management and Implementation, Chapter IV on 3rd paragraph:

Non formal education is conducted basically based on community initiate, managed by and to fulfill community own sake

(1) PKBM and others similar form are able to carry out community education regard with :

a. attain knowledge and ability;

b. obtain life skills;

c. enhance professional conduct and personality;

d. set up self endeavor

e. maintain further education.

(3) PKBM accredited by National Board of Accreditation for Non Formal Education to conduct learner competencies assessment according to designated regulation.

(4)National Board of Accreditation for Non Formal Education is confer proficient certificate pursue learner passed associate assessment according to article (3)
