TJIT has done placement activities for the students of T.John Group of Institutions and other colleges with various disciplines under the assignment executed by Dr.Nagarajan, Director-MBA VTU; TJIT. Following are the placement activities held at TJIT MBA Wing in the year 2011, from JAN2011 to APRIL2011. 1. GEOJIT BNP PARIBAS, LEADING FINANCIAL SERVICES COMPANYS RECRUITMENT AT T.JOHN GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, ON 23/03/2011 4. IBM GLOBAL COMPANYS RECRUITMENT AT T.JOHN GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, ON 29/03/2011 5. In all the above events most of the students from T.John Group of Institutions and other colleges were highly benefited and more satisfied with the placements. 2. VTU-MBA Students have participated in Inter college Cricket tournament against the college AMC and played till Semi-Finals. 3. TJIT has organized South Zone Volleyball tournament inside the T.John Campus with live telecast were in nearly 30+ colleges were participated in the tournament and they were delighted with our hospitality, live telecasting and conducting the tournament. A. Asif Ali, MBA; Srinivasa.H.P, Chandra shekar.R.K Asst.Professors from CS Dept and Physical Director were the coordinators for conducting South Zone Vollyball Tournament. 4. Under the captainship of A.Asif Ali, MBA along with his team of T.J.I.T has won 1st Prize in Cricket Sports conducted by T.John group of Institutions.

5. TJIT-MBA department students have conducted MBA Business Quiz for enhancing their skills with the guidance of MBA department faculties.

IBM GLOBAL PROCESS SERVICES RECRUITMENT IN T.JOHN GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, FOR DIFFERENT DISCIPLINES ON 01/03/2011 IBM Global Process Services (Formerly IBM DAKSH) is an integral part of the companys Globally Integrated Enterprise Model. They provide solutions across various verticals in the field of Banking, Insurance, Travel, Telecom, Technology, Distribution and Utilities. They are expertise in different streams (Marketing, HRM, and Finance). They comprise of different offshore centers in India, Philippines and 50 plus centers globally by delivering asset based process outsourcing solution to more than 75 clients across multiple industries globally. They are more focused on employee development, customer satisfaction; reduce operational costs and attaining measurable process improvements. IBM Global Process Services shed their light on recruiting students from T.John Group of Institutions on 01/03/2011 for different discipline. The programme was started by 10:30AM, at T.J.I.T (T.John Institute of Technology) MBA-VTU Block.

Dr.Nagarajan, Director, MBA Department, T.J.I.T., addressing IBM Global Process Services recruiters. Students from different colleges of T. John Groups were participated in IBM recruitment.

Students were provided with a brief lecture about IBM Global Process Services, recruitment process and Career Growth Process in T.J.I.T Seminar Hall with high class arrangements. Interview arrangements were done in T.J.I.T MBA Floor in excellent- Interview process started by 10:30AM and ended at 6:00PM.

85 students of T.John Groups were selected for next level of interview by IBM. As a token of respect for IBM from T.John Group of Institutions, momentos (WORLD OF TITAN) were provided to the IBM recruiters.\ IBM was highly satisfied with our students talent, caliber and their excellence in knowledge for jobs. ANTAL INTERNATIONAL NETWORK, GLOBAL EXECUTIVE SEARCH FIRMS RECRUITMENT AT T.JOHN GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS, ON 22/03/2011 Antal International Network* Global Executive Search Firm Headquarters in U.K with 169 offices in 30 countries across globally. They do recruitment services in various sectors of Accounting & Finance, Engineering, HR, IT Technical, Legal, Logistics, Operations, and Sales & Marketing. Antal International Network has 17 years of experience as a recruitment consultant globally. Antel International Network in India has started since 2007 onwards in various states. Antel International Network, Executive Recruitment has conducted Interview on 22nd march 2011 to recruit final year MBA students with HR and Marketing as specialization for the post of Associate Consultant/Consultant with 5Lakhs as CTC. The programme was started by 10:30AM, at T.J.I.T (T.John Institute of Technology) MBA-VTU Block under the leadership of Dr. G.Nagarajan, Director- MBA-VTU. Interview arrangements were done in T.J.I.T MBA wing and the Interview process has started by 10:30AM and ended at 4.00PM. Total 85 students of T.John Group of Institutions were divided into 9 batches with 10 members each. After the 1st round of Interview process 8 students were been shortlisted for the 2nd round. After 2nd round 3 students where selected for the final round (Ms. Libiana, Mr.Omar from TJC and Ms.Deepti from TIMS.)

Total 75 students of T.John Group of Institutions were participated in the Interview. After the Interview process 22 students have been shortlisted, out of which 15 students are selected for April months recruitment and 7 students named below have to report Geojit BNP Paribas by 28th-March-2011. 1. Welcome speech was given by Dr.Nagarajan, Director, MBA Department, T.J.I.T., addressing IBM. Students from different colleges of T. John Group of Institutions and also from outside colleges like City engineering college and AMC College have participated in IBM Global recruitment. Students were provided with a brief lecture about IBM recruitment process and Career Growth Process in T.J.I.T Seminar Hall with high class arrangements. Vote of thanks was given by Mr.A.Asif Ali, Sr.Lecturer, MBA-VTU, T.J.I.T., addressing IBM recruiters. Conclusion: Interview arrangements were done in T.J.I.T MBA wing and the Interview process has started by 11.30AM and ended at 6.30 PM. Total 250 students of T.John Group of Institutions and other outside colleges were participated in the Interview. After the Interview process 77 students have been shortlisted, in the first round Group discussion and after the final round recruitment process 40 students from TJIT and other Colleges were been selected for the final HR interview in IBM. After the Interview process 16 students have been shortlisted for the final round at their Office.

Sunil Sindhe, HR Specialist with his team has conducted the Recruitment process. Welcome speech was given by Dr.Nagarajan, Director, MBA Department, T.J.I.T., addressing HP. Students from different colleges of T. John Group of Institutions have participated in HP recruitment. Students were provided with a brief lecture about HP recruitment process and Career Growth Process in T.J.I.T Seminar Hall.

Conclusion:

Interview arrangements were done in T.J.I.T MBA wing and the Interview process has started by 11.30AM and ended at 6.30 PM. nearly 30 students of T.John Group of Institutions were participated in the Interview. After the Interview process 22 students have been shortlisted by HP.
