Placing trades in
Currency Derivatives
To start placing order in Currency Futures, select FUTCUR from the drop down.
Select the exchange as CD.
Enter the first few characters of the contract name and select your preferred contract from the list of suggestions.
Select the date of expiry of your desired contract form the drop down.
Click on GO.
The details of the contract will appear on the screen.
Click on BUY to place a buy order or SELL for placing sell transaction.
Select your desired Product Type as Normal or Intraday.
Next, select your desired Order Type as Limit, Market, SL-L or SL-M.
Note: One Lot is equivalent to 1000 units. Here, you are required to enter the number of lots instead of the number of units in one lot.
Enter the number of Lots you wish to buy or sell in the Qty field.
Select the validity as Day, IOC (Immediate or Cancel) or COL (Cancel on loss of connectivity with server or exchange) from the drop down.
Click on BUY to place your order.
Order preview panel appears with details of your order placed. Click on cancel if you want to make some changes. Else, click on CONFIRM.
Alert will pop up showing that order is under process. Click on OK.
The placed order can be viewed in Order Book.
An open order in the order book can be modified by clicking on this icon.
Order entry panel appears on the screen. You can make the necessary changes and click on MODIFY.
Open order in the order book can be cancelled by clicking in this icon.
A pop up appears. Click on YES to confirm cancellation.
Click on OK.

Once the trade is executed, it can be viewed in the Trade Book as well with options available for Buy, Sell and Convert Product.
Similarly, you can view the executed order in Positions window.
If you wish to place a Square off order, click on Q icon.
The Sell order entry panel appears with the contract details pre populated. You are required to only enter the order type and price to place the order.
Similarly, you can place order in Currency Options by selecting OPTCUR and follow similar steps as of Currency Futures.
