local surrenders. This Operation Plan stems from CinCPac and CinCPOi\.Operation Plan 12-45. I t covers the i n i t i a l entrance into the Tokyo Bayrtrea and the seizure of Yokosuka naval zone only, which operations coincide

with t:1e execution of CinCAFPac B:.:::R S D ~ T Y operation. Commander THIRDFleet vlill issue other Operation Plans to cover the l a te r phases o f opera

t ions required by CinCPac and CinCPOh Operation Plan 12-45.
