How to ride You may catch the bus at any marked bus stop by flagging the driver. Stops at intersections, where SAFE, will also be made. Exact fare only, drivers do not make change. BUS Fare information Fixed Route Fare - $1.00 Reduced Half Fare* - $0.50 Handi-Wheels Fare - $2.00 Transfers - Free Children under 6 with an adult - Free Passes Adult 20 Ride Pass - $20.00 Reduced / Half Fare Pass - $10.00 Student 20 Ride Pass - $18.00 Handi-Wheels 10 Ride Pass - $20.00 Student, Reduced Fare and Adult Passes may be purchased on regular route buses. Handi-Wheels passes and all other passes, may be purchased at Miller Street Station (820 E. Miller St.) or at City Hall (320 E. McCarty St.) A Reduced Fare/Half-Fare Pass is offered on fixed routes for persons age 60 and over, person with disabilities, and Medicare cardholders. Reduced Fare Program and Handi-Wheels Service apllications are available at www.jefftran.org, the Miller Street Station, and City Hall. Please note, only the City Hall location can process applications for Reduced-Fare Card and credit/debit card purchases. Eligible patrons may apply for a Reduced Fare Card by providing photo- identification, proof of eligibility, and completion of an application. Transfers For each one-way trip taken with JEFFTRAN, you are allowed one transfer. If more than one route is needed to reach your destination, ask your driver for a transfer when boarding. Connections between routes are made at the Miller Street Station or the Stonecreek Transfer Point (Menard’s). Access to Individuals with Disabilities This schedule is available in Braille and large print format. All fixed-route buses are lift or ramp equipped, although all existing bus stops are not accessible to wheelchairs. JEFFTRAN also offers paratransit service through Handi-Wheels.
