Research and planningHow I incorporated the use of media technology's and different platforms.Social media/sharing website and how I utilized it The first website that I used to research short films is YouTube, YouTube is a website that allows people to create channels that they can then upload videos to. YouTube is built on the success and following gain by hundreds of short films. Some of the first people I stabled across and truly enjoyed there content are Freddie Wong and Tomska,

Both who make comedy shot film which isn't the genre I was following but I could respect that editing and sharing that had gone into the films. And I learned from them and applied to my own work. I gain a good understanding of how to incorporate text into my film in cleaver ways, just by using YouTube as research tool. This research was a way in which I could improve in myself and work and it also was a tool of inspiration as it offered such a large catalog of film that covey every genre and convention.

The production planningThe main thing that came into play for the planning side and production was location scouting, I new that I wanted to film in china town and around that area, the online website Google maps is something that I could use street view that essentially is a 3d guide of the streets of London, this tool was unbelievably handy when it came to location scouting as it meant that I didn't even need to go to central London when looking for a good location. This saved me vital time that I could then put back into the production of my short film. bellow is what street view looked like when browsing the streets of London without even leaving my desk

Planning for ancillary tasks For this is simply used the normal and well used Google search so that I could look at not only a template but also a variety of both old and new posters that I could begin to take inspiration for.
