Some of our most magical memories ofchildhood come from family vacations.
Now, as a parent, you’re on the other
side of that equation, and it’s yourresponsibility to organize your kids’
unforgettable journey. Here are a fewtips!
Get excited for your trip! Spendtime reading to your kids or
showing them movies about whereyou're going so that they look
forward to visiting yourdestination.
Be prepared in case somethingdoesn't work out as planned. Forexample, if the main attractionyou wanted to visit is closed for
some reason, have a list of otheractivities ready to go so that you
don't miss out on a chance tohave fun!
Sampling the local cuisine canbe a lot of fun, but make sureyou've planned out when andwhere you'll eat ahead of time
so that it's not a mad dash onceeveryone gets hungry. And as asafety measure, always keep a
few snacks handy!
Be sure to take pictures! You can also give your kids a camera so that they cantake pictures of what was memorable to them about your vacation and let them
buy a souvenir as a memento.
