• New release of software that blends best of Unicorn,

Horizon/Corinthian, and other solutions

• Development project announced in March 2007

• Unicorn GL3.1 is the base for Symphony– Stability, scalability, and full features immediately available

• All R&D resources focused on a single platform

• Beta testing announced in August 2007

• Approximately 20 customer sites tested Symphony 3.2

• General release announced in December 2007

• Software is available from SirsiDynix Customer website

How long will Horizon 7.x be supported?

• No plans to drop support

• Expect to support Horizon 7.x for 4-6 years

• Not pushing customers to move to SirsiDynix Symphony

• New releases already in process for 7.x

• Customers can plan the move to SirsiDynix Symphony at

their own pace

• Maintenance release for Horizon 7.3/7.4 customers

• Includes many fixes previously provided to individual sites

• Support for Web Reporter 1.5

• French Canadian version of 7.4.1 & HIP 3.09 – now in beta

SirsiDynix Symphony Upgrade Packages

• New upgrade packages announced at CODI for Horizon

customers

• Each package includes equivalent core software licenses,

database license and services

• Objective is to make the upgrade path from Horizon to

SirsiDynix Symphony easy and affordable

• Three packages are available to Horizon customers:– Harmony Upgrade (base package)– Crescendo Upgrade – Virtuoso Upgrade

SirsiDynix Symphony Upgrade Packages

• Equivalent core SirsiDynix Symphony licenses are free

• Oracle license is free

• Harmony base package is free if:– No RFP process– Extend current maintenance contract by 3 years

• Crescendo and Virtuoso packages have a price but

discounts apply if:– No RFP process: 20%– No RFP process and extend maintenance contract by 3 years: 40%

• Packages exclude services required to move and

implement Addon and Third Party products

• A SureStart six-months package (4 weekly calls, 5

monthly) for a total period of six months
