Feedstock for the PAC production

Aluminium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid

These substances will be mixed intensively and convert to PAC under formation of water when increasing temperature and pressure. By the addition of conditioning material the chemical composition of the finished PAC product can be adjusted and optimized for the particular application.

CAC offers together with the know how of the Huntsman Pigments Wasserchemie plants for the production of liquid PAC with an annual capacity of up to 30,000 t.Polyaluminium Chloride (PAC) is a very effective chemical for water treatment and dis-placed traditional products like aluminium sulfate or iron chloride during the last years due to its higher efficiency at lower dosage.
