Welcome back, Huskies!

To keep everyone safe in these crazy times, we have to implement some tight guidelines and processes, regardless if you’re learning at home (#TeamAtHome) or on campus (#TeamInBuilding).

This is new to all of us and we are doing school in ways we’ve never done before, so expect some tweaking as we move forward ‘in real life’. As we see what is working well and what needs adjustment, we commit to communicating as soon as we see any changes that become necessary.

Check out our updated bell schedule and post it where you’ll see it each day. This same schedule will be followed regard-less of your location. We’ve moved to more simple to remember numbers, and we’ve built in some screen breaks along with an extended lunch period.

Please pay special attention to where you should enter and exit the building - and don’t forget your mask!

9th Grade: Enter/exit at Auditorium Lobby Door 7. You will be checked in by a staff member and escorted to your socially-distanced assigned seat in the auditorium spaces. If you are dropped off in the north parking area near the Lower Commons, you will have to walk around the building. You MAY NOT walk thru the building.

10th grade: Enter/exit at Door 2 in the front of the building. You’ll be checked in by a staff member, escorted across the hallway to the Learning Commons, and directed to your socially-distanced assigned seat. If you drive yourself or get dropped off in the north parking area near the Lower Commons, you will have to walk around the building. You MAY NOT walk thru the building.

11th-12th Grade: Enter/exit at the Lower Commons entrance. If you are a bus rider, walk around the west end of the building past the auditorium and science wing to the Lower Commons; i.e., you MAY NOT walk thru the building. Proceed directly to the lower Igloo entrance near the weight room. Once in the Igloo, you’ll be checked in and shown to your socially-distanced assigned seat in the Igloo.

EVERY DAY, you will need to complete a Health Screening form before you arrive. Find it using this QR code or directly at https://ppsurl.me/my8ky. Bookmark this link, as you’ll be completing it each day.

WEEKLY, you will complete a School Scheduling google form each week indicating your expected attendance for the following week. This link will be available beginning August 31. It will be sent to all In-School students/parents and will also be posted on our homepage.

You must bring your Student ID in order to enter the building. Freshmen, bring your middle school ID for now. After the first day, all students in attendance will be expected to wear their ID on a lanyard daily. We will provide lanyards as needed.

If you have signed up for in-building support but are not coming in due to a sickness, appointment, etc., parents will need to call your grade office to report your absence.

9th + 11th grade Mrs. Sara Fern 323-5562

10th + 12th grade Mrs. Trace Clemens 323-5471

Please remain socially distanced from other students and staff anytime you are moving around (entering and exiting the building, moving to lunch, etc).

The expectation is that you’ll remain in your assigned seat except when excused for…

Designated mask breaks - these will be held outside in the front staff parking lot and grassy areas.

Lunch - you will be escorted to lunch by staff. This process will be presented on the first full day.

Restrooms - each area will have a designated nearby restroom.

You must wear your mask at all times.

You won’t have physical access to teachers even if they are in the building. Any conversations needed with an instructor will need to happen virtually.

Breakfast and lunch will be available by pre-order/pre-pay or you can bring a lunch from home. More details will be coming from our Food Services department. At this time, we are unable to accept any parent or outside delivery of lunches .

School ID (Freshmen, bring your middle school ID)
