POWER COMMANDER V INPUT ACCESSORY GUIDE
Map - ThePCVhastheabilitytohold2differentbasemaps.YoucanswitchontheflybetweenthesetwobasemapswhenyouhookupaswitchtotheMAPinputs.Youcanuseanyopen/closetypeswitch.Thepolarityofthewiresisnotimportant.WhenusingtheAutotunekitonepositionwillholdabasemapandtheotherpositionwillletyouactivatethelearningmode.Whentheswitchis“CLOSED”Autotunewillbeactivated.
Shifter- TheseinputsareforusewiththeDynojetquickshifter.InsertthewiresfromtheDynojetquickshifterintotheSHIFTERinputs.Thepolarityofthewiresisnotimportant.
Speed- Ifyourapplicationhasaspeedsensorthenyoucantapintothesignalsideofthesensorandrunawireintothisinput.ThiswillallowyoutocalculategearpositionintheControlCenterSoftware.Oncegearpositionissetupyoucanalteryourmapbasedongearpositionandsetupgeardependentkilltimeswhenusingaquickshifter.
Analog- Thisinputisfora0-5vsignalsuchasenginetemp,boost,etc.Oncethisinputisestablishedyoucanalteryourfuelcurvebasedonthisinputinthecontrolcentersoftware.
Crank- DoNOTconnectanythingtothisportunlessinstructedtodosobyDynojet.Itisusedtotransfercranktriggerdatafromonemoduletoanother.
ACCESSORY INPUTS
Wire connections:
ToinputwiresintothePCVfirstremovetherubberplugonthebacksideoftheunitandloosenthescrewforthecorrespondinginput.Usinga22-24gaugewirestripabout10mmfromitsend.PushthewireintotheholeofthePCVuntilisstopsandthentightenthescrew.Makesuretoreinstalltherubberplug.
NOTE:Ifyoutinthewireswithsolderitwillmakeinsertingthemeasier.

1 Removethecosmeticcoversonboththerightandleftsides(Fig.A).
2 Removetheairboxcoverbyreleasingtheclipsaroundtheedgeoftheairbox(Fig.B).
3 Toremovetheairboxbase,removethe6boltsaroundthevelocitystacks(Fig.C).
Only 4 bolts are visible in Figure C.
4 Cutthe3ziptiesontheleftsideoftheairboxthatsecurethewiringharness.
5 Pulltheairboxbaseouttherightside.Thisallowsaccesstotheinjectorconnectors.

6 UsingthesuppliedvelcrosecurethePCVunitinplacenexttothefusebox(Fig.D).
This is located under the front storage hatch. Make sure to clean both surfaces with the alcohol swab before attaching.
7 RoutethePCVharnessdowntheleftsideofthevehicleandgotowardsthethrottlebodies.
The harness will be secured in place in a later step.

8 Unplugthestockwiringharnessfromtherearinjectorontheleftsideofthethrottlebodies(Fig.E).
To release the connector squeeze the spring clip into the connector.

10 Unplugthestockwiringharnessfromthefrontinjectorontherightsideofthethrottlebodies(Fig.G).
To release the connector squeeze the spring clip into the connector.
11 PlugtheORANGEcoloredwiresfromthePCVin-lineofthestockwiringharnessandrearinjector(Fig.H).
12 AttachtheGREYwireofthePCVtotheWHT/BRNwireofthestockThrottlePositionSensorusingthesuppliedposi-tap(Fig.J).
The TPS is located on the left side of the throttle bodies.

13 AttachthegroundwireofthePCVtotherearcylinderheadontheleftside(Fig.K).
Remove the stock bolt and insert bolt thru the eyelet of the PCV ground wire and reinstall bolt into head.

15 UnplugthestockwiringharnessfromtheO2sensor(Fig.M).
This connection is located near the battery box. The inner tail section will need to be removed to access this connection.

TheO2optimizerforthismodelcontrolsthestockclosedlooparea.ThisareaisrepresentedbythehighlightedcellsshowninFigureO.TheoptimizerisdesignedtoachieveatargetAFRof13.6:1.TousethisoptimizeryoumustretainyourstockO2sensor.
ItisnotrecommendedtoalterthevaluesinthehighlightedareaunlessinstructedtodosobyaDynojettechnician.
