Judy Dent, President

Active Senior Elks,

Welcome Spring!!! I cannot be-lieve the winter we have had. We are so thankful for the easy winter and are looking forward to a won-derful spring. We want to wel-come back all our snowbirds and look forward to seeing you all at our upcoming meetings. In April, we will install our officers for the upcoming year. The officers in-clude Jeanne Gryzwacz, Vice President, Nancy Comben, Treas-urer and Donna Parmenter, Secre-tary and Judy Dent, President. I want to personally thank these la-dies for stepping up and returning for another year. I also want to thank Dave Melton our chaplain, Connie Melton our sunshine lady, Bud Schwartz for handling the raf-fle each month and Ron Wester-field for collecting the money for our meals. Also a special thank you to Betty Westerfield, Donna Parmenter and Nedra Williams for all their work in providing enter-tainment for our meetings. We

had a very good year full of good times, lots of laughs and good memories. Our hostesses each month provided good food and beautiful decorations which kept us all in a festive mood. We are all so lucky to belong to such a special group of awesome people and I personally am blessed to call you all my friend. Our meetings are always open to any-one who would like to join us on the second Tuesday of each month. You won’t find a better bunch of people and we are al-ways excited to welcome new members. Upcoming for the Elks is the Mothers Day Brunch on May 8. Please continue to support events put on by the Elks as your participation is what will keep our doors open. I look for-ward to seeing you all at the Elks and wish you all a glorious spring.

Secretary's Notes Well dues notices have all gone out and dues are coming in. Sorry about the membership cards being a little late in getting back to you but I was on vacation for the month of Febru-ary. But all is back on track. If you have not received your dues notice please contact the Lodge. You might have to update your informa-tion. Dues are always due before April 1st. If your dues are not paid before this date you become delinquent. Please we do not want that to happen to anyone. The Lodge has been very busy with all the activities going on you should make sure that you come on in and enjoy not only the goings on but the members as well.

Throughout the past year with the

many people utilizing out Lodge we

have initiated 16 new members since

April 1, 2015. This trend must con-

tinue. You as Elks must help with

this endeavor. Bring your friends,

your family, your co-workers and

your neighbors to our Lodge. Tell

them all the good things we do for

their community. Encourage them to

join the best Fraternal Order around.

Fraternally:

Heather Lee Matheson, Secretary

Exalted Rulers Message, Continued from pg.1

The Elks and their friends are indeed generous. Once again many of you have stepped forward to assist the special needs children by donating to the 365 Banks program. It is such an important undertaking and the families of those youngsters certainly do appreciate everyone’s support. Be sure to pick up a 365 Bank in the lobby at the Lodge and contribute to this most worthy cause. Invite your friends and neighbors to help as well. Please note that we cannot process damaged, Canadian or other foreign coins. Lee Herberger

Exalted Ruler

If you haven’t paid your dues yet, I urge you to do so as soon as possible. We can’t pay our bills if you haven’t paid yours. Finally, I would like to thank all Elks members for allowing me to serve as Exalted Ruler. Your help and kindness has made the job fun. So much fun that I am going to do it again. Maybe I can do it right this time. See you all at the Lodge!
