ELDERS’ CORNER: We rejoice that Brent, Kevin and Casey have returned from their trip to Ghana. They arrived safely home Friday evening. We look forward to hearing their report on the works in Ghana in the near future.

We express our heartfelt thanks to Clyde and Robbie for the watermelon feast we enjoyed Sunday evening. We deeply appreciate your generosity as well as the fellowship we enjoyed.

We praise God for the those who have recently placed membership here at Kansas Expressway. Cary & Kimmy Welch and their two children, Melanie & Tony placed membership Sunday and came to us from the Conway church. John & Tiffany Sanders placed membership earlier in the month. Their children are Ellie, Audri and Owen. Please be sure to welcome them to our family.

We have several activities coming up very soon. Brent’s camp session begins July 28th. The Couple’s Workshop will be held Aug. 2nd and 3rd with Nathan & Ashley Cozort speaking. Our VBS begins August 4th and runs through the 7th. Make note of the activities and support them.

We’ve noticed items, that are past the expiration date, have been brought in for the food pantry. If you would like to contribute to the pantry, be sure to check the dates, as we will no longer accept expired food.

Pray for our sick & those who have suffered loss. Pray for the church. Pray for the lost. Pray for Jerry and me.

Your Elders,

David and Jerry
